"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said

When Trump says he’s like to punch a protestor in the face, and then one of his rally-goers punches a protestor in the face . . . when Trump says he’d pay the legal bills of his supporters who assault protestors . . . yes, Trump does bear some of the responsibility. He shows poor judgment. Trump’s campaign is fueled on anger.
Yes, yes, yes.
America is being destroyed. Apparently your cool with it.
As I suspected, the trumpertantrum leaders refuse to read the article
Congrats on reading and critiquing the headline— written by the Washington Post.
The real point is what the candidates said about the event.
here again, we are relying on the washington post and we really don’t know exactly.
I do seek to disrupt the idea that will rapidly be propagated here at FR that Cruz somehow sided with the protesters against Trump.
That is false.
This post proves that.
In thee cases you cannot back down. If the mob smells weakness it will win. Cruz is showing us what a whimp he is and what kind of president he would be.
How the hell is he right? Trump is at fault because leftist agitators decided/were paid to agitate? It’s disgusting for Cruz to sink this low. He’s gotten so caught up in attacking Trump that he’s lost sight of reality.
Don’t these three men care about lives?
Obviously Trump did. He canceled to protect those supporters who wanted to attend his event.
“So, odd this happening after the most subdued debate of this season ”
It certainly is.
THese guys roll over quicker than a $2 hooker. Imagine them having to stand up to Putin or Ackma dinner jacket.
Cruz is a moron. The good news is voters are beginning to realize it and he has dropped in the polls since the last debate. Send the dope back to Canada.
Huh? Do you have a Luntz meter for "token"?
Well yes, if one has rallies that attracts 50 or 100 it's easy to separate out those who disagree with you. But having a rallies of 10,000 or 20,000 is a different matter. And so far Trump has been remarkable considering the size of those crowds and the ferocity of the GOP and left against him.
Its absurd to blame Cruz for the violent attacks.
it really is.
Cruz rallies face similar problems and it is ok and proper for authorities to remove disruptive protesters.
I agree.
The three of them are now functioning as spoilers for the globalist GOP Elite.
Obama calls cops murderers, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders call cops murderers, yet when cops are MURDERED no one in the media blames the rhetoric coming out of the mouths of liberals for the murders of cops
It is a legitimate criticism.
Trump says demonstrators should be roughed up. That he wants to punch them.
Then Willie Nelson sucker punches that guys the other day. It goes viral.
There are also a lot of other videos of protestors being shoved and hit at Trump events, including girls.
They see these things and get emotional.
It’s bad juju.
It’s not a TV show.
Trump is making a point when he says things like he wants to punch the protestors, not meaning it literally.
But that does not matter to the leftist psychopath “revolutionaries”.
Well you can look at WHAT he said...the number of words and the "tone" he used.
False.
Cruz is doing better and better with every race.
Trumpsters feel more and more threatened so they respond in this way with ad hominem attacks.
People who want a real conservative will vote for Cruz.
if people aren't angry about what's happening in our country, they're not paying attention.
