At a media availability in Chicago, GOP Presidential candidate Ted Cruz blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The rally had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.

OK thank you. got in just a few minutes ago and did not see this and only read it on here seeing cruz voters saying he did not say this.

He did say it and any cruz voter denying this only a piece of @. I am B/S screw you cruz. You should have been going after the Sander’s voters now trump and you use this to promote yourself.

Cruz is clueless. He could end up losing his senate seat over this. Must not be a very good chess player because he clearly can’t think a few moves ahead.
I watched it, it was a typical Cruz stump speech, just tweeked for this special occasion. “Vote for me if you want to Stop Trump.” Rubio’s response was better.

Just got home after being with a dear friend all day who was just transferred to another hospital. . . .thought I would check FR. The news is unbelievable. We are a country gone stark raving mad. Our ONLY hope is Jesus. What part of that don’t the politicians get????? This is last days stuff. . .straight out of the Bible. Not setting a date. . .but we are told to know the times we live in. My mother and father were both WWII vets and went to be with Jesus a few years ago. I wonder if Ted Cruz felt that way when these same protestors were doing the same thing at Tea Party rallies. Remember when we were accused of being racists and these same Commies showed up and did the exact same thing(So this is nothing new) I wonder if Cruz felt the same way when Ben Shapiro was shut down at his public speaking event at Cal State LA, was it Ben’s fault Ted? What Ted Cruz doesn’t see is that if Trump were not running for President, this same garbage would be done to HIM..this is what leftists do they have been doing it for over 30 years

Probably not. It’s becoming more and more apparent that Cruz supporters aren’t welcome here.
Wow. I’ve never said a bad word about Ted ... but my respect for him is now zero. This man is irresponsible and despicable.
No respect. Disgusted.
Over many months I supported Cruz. I even donated to him. I went from liking him to questioning him. I learned to realize this guy is a liar, a fraud, a sleazy lawyer and joined at the hip with GOP-e through the Bush family.
I learned to think of Cruz as a crook. I was very disappointed in him as well as myself for supporting him.
Today, I am completely disgusted with Cruz.
But, I am apparently a low information voter, my education is not up to his standards and if I don’t vote for him I will go to Hell.

I suppose Ted Cruz was not wrong if you have joined the side that also claims that Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and the Tea Party are the blame for Gabrielle Giffords getting shot in Arizona.
You are correct. Ben was creating an environment of violence. Maybe he and Ted need a safe space.
