At a media availability in Chicago, GOP Presidential candidate Ted Cruz blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The rally had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.

Toeing The Establishment line again. That’s our Teddy!
There are a bunch of links to video of Cruz blaming Trump. Not hard to find.
Yes, only Leftists should have a voice.
When these little darlings have destroyed the Constitution, what will protect their future right to act like they do today?
Ditto!!!
If I wanted to click on a link I would have.
I just was wondering if someone had the quote where he blamed Trump for the violence. If no one is willing to do that, so be it.
[Can we hear from a single Cruz supporter here at FR...]
Not a wise decision on Ted’s part. It will come back to bite him.
Cruz should be ashamed of himself. He is siding with BLM thugs and muzzies/Pakistani scuum over a Republican candidate.
Let’s ping FR’s #1 Cruz supporter, TBP. He’s also a pro-Muslim/Paki lobbyist of some repute and may be able to connect the dots for us.
What a political jacka$$, everyday I loathe this natural born Canadian political hack lawyer more and more.
I was watching and I wish I could post exactly who I KNOW is behind thus, however, that would probably get me booted, so I will instead say this...
...unless we take our country back by the ballot box this year, unless Trump is elected our next president, this will be the LAST elections this nation ever sees again. The writing is on the wall folks, and Cruz, after watching this video, is NOT and outsider at all, he is establishment to the core.
What do you expect?
It is Chicago. Look at who is the mayor.
Nuff said.
“I think the campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment when the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face, the predictable consequence of that is that it escalates,” Cruz said. “And today is unlikely to be the last such instance.” I absolutely agree. Tell me something in that statement that is not true. Did trump not say he wanted to punch protesters in the face? Do you really see a difference between that and an encouragement to action that some supporters turn that into?
I couldn’t watch beyond “When you have a campaign that disrespects the voters.”
There is a word for guys like him. In French they call it trou de cul, balle de cul...
Poor Ted. Poor Lyin Ted. Soon to be back in the senate reading Green Eggs and Ham.
He blamed the protesters...then said trump was contributing to the rancorous discourse....was he wrong?
Especially after he insulted Trump supporters the other day by calling them “low info”. Gee, now THAT will get them to vote for you Ted!
You do know how to do a search, don’t you? It is rather easy. You remind me of some of the members of a sports forum I belong to. They were too lazy or did not know how to search for any information. Bless your little heart.
Yep, he did blame Trump. He talks disparagingly of campaigns that are disrespectful of the voters, which is an interesting choice, considering what he personally said about Trump supporters.
The thing is, wasn’t this going to be a nightmare anyway? They did promise protests and they did try to get this shut down long before that man sucker punched the protester (and then followed up with terroristic threats). I think this is spin to try to blame Trump for what was going to happen anyway.
The rioters were breaking car windows and smashing cars with bats and hammers on the third floor of the adjacent garage. That party was broken up by Chicago PD. There were also fights on the street in front of that same garage.
Protesters interviewed on TV said this was just Democracy in action. Delusional. And with all the Bernie signs in the crowd. It was anarchy in action.
Cruz just took my primary vote to Trump. I will support anybody over Hilary of course when that time comes. Cruz is smarter than any of the others. But the way he just blamed the violence on Trump shows me he will not stand up others when it counts.
