Kurt Bardella, a spokesman for Breitbart, has quit the company following an incident where one of its reporters accused GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trumps campaign manager of violently grabbing her.
"When you reach a point where you can't give 100% to people you represent, it's not tenable to continue representing them, Bardella said in a statement to The Hill.
Bardella, a former spokesman for Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), also implied that Breitbarts handling of the incident at the Trump event was his main reason for leaving.
My own personal observation is that there is a cycle of behavior that is escalating and it's happening exclusively at Donald Trump events, he said in the statement. It is wrong, disgusting and indicative of an ugliness that is contaminating the public and political discourse in our country. Life is too short to invest your time in things you don't believe and aren't passionate about. That is why I made the decision to resign from representing Breitbart."

In the process, he discredited the reliability and integrity of Breitbart as a responsible news agency, did serious damage to the Donald Trump campaign and most importantly, he publicly slandered Donald Trump's campaign manager.
Bardella is now trying to quit on his terms before Breitbart News is forced to publicly fire him.
Donald Trump may qualify as public figure which bars him from pursuing Bardella for slander, but Corey Lewandowski, Trumps’s campaign manager is not a public figure - he is a paid professional campaign manager and this case slander laws apply and Barbell's slander of him is subject to legal action and a strong case can be made that Corey Lewandowski’s career has been damaged and his earning potential ruined.
The fact that Corey Lewandowski has been slandered is beyond dispute so Bardella has opened himself and his employer to serious liability if Corey Lewandowski chooses to pursue a sander case in the courts.
Trump is going to need a huge security force at his events going forward. They are being infiltrated by hard core leftists who are there for no reason other than to incite violence.
Round em up and throw em out. Rawhide.
So he’s calling Trump’s rally attendees browshirt thugs and he doesn’t want to indirectly condone that via his employer? Can’t whoever manhandled her just admit it and put this to bed?
AMF!
Do you know how to post a jpg or other type of pic file here?
This Cspan pic I marked up is very revealing. I’m surprised that Breitbart or others haven’t figured this out yet.
That picture proves the comment that “a picture is worth a thousand words” is true....
Trump’s next rally starts in Chicago in 1 hour. The belly of the beast. ;-)
Is he blaming Trump or Breitbart?
Breitbart has gone off the deep end. Sad to see.
Yeah, that would be something if Trump supporters did him in. But Cruz is doing himself in with no help from his supporters.
I have never once seen a popular politician, rock star, or whatever pass through a crows without security have to push people out of the way to help who they are guarding be able to work their way through the crowd.
This is complete bs.
My fantasy for Chicago rally tonite is Iron Mike Ditka comes out on stage for Trump. Holding a Bears helmet. I know dream time.
A former Darrell Issa spokesman probably thinks Brownies selling Girl Scout cookies at the supermarket are too aggressive:”Hi mister, you wanna ...”
Leave me alone!
See ya, Nancy.
Trump to hire BLM thugs to police rallies. That would stop all the criticism. /s
in most cases things are a vast exaggeration of the truth.
a gentle nudge turned into 2nd degree assault :)
If he quits, he has to hire his own lawyer, etc. Probably gets out of any damage awarded, that being assignable to Breitbart, not him personally.
If Lewandowski decides to sue (doubtful), he's better off suing Breitbart than Bardella. Breitbart has more money.
LOL (BLM)/sarc - reminds me: remember the tragedy when the Hell’s Angels did security for the Rolling Stones?

If it is indeed the secret service agent, I don’t know that they are allowed to. It’s their job, after all.
