Award-winning actor Jon Voight has endorsed Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump for president.
“He’s an answer to our problems. We need to get behind him,” Mr. Voight, 77, told Breitbart News in an interview Tuesday evening. “The Republicans need to unite behind this man. We need somebody to go in and reconstruct us in a sort of way, get us back to where we were, who we need to be.”
The “Woodlawn” actor hit Mr. Trump’s most vocal critics, particularly former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who recently called Mr. Trump a “fraud” who is playing the American people for “suckers.”
Mr. Voight lamented: “We felt so great about his family, we put [Mr. Romney’s] picture on our refrigerators and so on, and now he turns around and does this, which is so way out of line.”

I’m confused. Jon Voight is bad because he endorsed Romney 4 years ago. Is he now good because he is endorsing Trump? Or Does this new endorsement trump his old endorsement?

Remember in the movie “The Godfather part 2” the Corleones blackmail Senator Geary by setting him up with the murder of a prostitute? That’s what this whole Romney thing reeks off. What would make Romney so insane as to do that to Trump? To utterly destroy his own reputation and integrity? The elites must have blackmailed that dude. “Governor, you can have our answer now if you like. Our answer is this: Nothing. And we would appreciate it if you held a press conference bashing Donald Trump”

Nothing to be confused about. Voight’s one of the few conservatives in Hollywood that are not afraid to say it.
