Donald Trump is leading Governor John Kasich in two new polls in Ohio.
Trump maintains a 6 point lead in the latest Quinnipiac and CNN polls in the Buckeye State. Cincinnati.com reported:
So much for home-state advantage. Two new polls released on Wednesday show Ohio Gov. John Kasich trailing New York billionaire Donald Trump in the Buckeye State.
A Quinnipiac University Poll has Trump ahead of Kasich by 6 percentage points, and a CNN poll gives the same edge to the New York real estate tycoon.
The polls come the morning after Kasich finished third in Michigans Republican primary a state in which he had spent so much time campaigning he joked he might have to start paying taxes there. In Tuesdays other presidential primaries, he finished third in Mississippi and last in Idaho and Hawaii.

NO NO NO!!!
We need Kasich to stop Trump in Ohio!
Okay I see the Q-poll where is the other one?
It’s funny, I’m a Cruz supporter and I like John Kasich (Not for President) but I want Kasich to lose Ohio.
He should have dropped out a long time ago.
You’ll be unhappy to know that this freeper already voted for Trump in Ohio.
We are waiting here in FL for election day and I am so looking forward to voting , but more so for my oldest boy who will vote for the first time.
Awesome...Trump can wrap the nomination up next week!!!
Kasich is a anti-gun Quisling.
Never trust a politician that wears sweaters and hugs people.
Who is “we”?
I’m in Ohio now listening to local talk radio. There is controversy about the GOP ballot being confusing. Seems there are 2 places on the ballot to vote for the presidential candidate twice.
Something about a vote in the general and a vote in the districts. Expect to hear more about this screw up.
Is it possible that Ohioan’s give him high approval marks as Governor but don’t prefer him for President? Conflicting info out there.
Okay if Trump wins both Ohio and Florida, the states of his two chief rivals, how is he stopped from getting the Republican nomination? Obvious, the GOPe uses rules and tricks and give us Ryan, Cruz, Rubio, Bush or any number of others. The base revolts and the Republican party does not recover.

A woman caller from Ohio was peed off at Kasich for eliminating the homestead exemptions for seniors 65 and above who must now pay property taxes.
The 2nd Amendment is my #1 issue. I never would have voted for Kasich anyway, but if he thinks I’ve forgotten his 1994 vote, he is sorely, sorely mistaken.
In addition to Florida and Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina also vote next week.
Plus caucuses for DC, Guam, the Northern Marianas Islands and Wyoming between now and then. Plus the South Carolina state convention which actually awards the delegates won in the February primary.
Buy lots of popcorn.
Some Cruzer’s want Kasich to lose Ohio because if JK wins he prolly stays in the race and draws away votes from Cruz in other upcoming states. So the thinking goes.
