Placing homosexuals and lesbians atop a pedestal to be honored as a third sex...and by the phony occupant of the Black Hut....was a serious miscalculation.
These perverts are more hated and despised than ever before.
Civil war is brewing.
Excellent decision by the Alabama SC. The same argument can be made for Roe v Wade.
It’s not much different from illegal immigration (which I’m sure the SC would “legalize” with one more hack liberal “judge”). You can’t get the people to vote for it in any state, the Congress won’t vote for it, so democrat “judges” pretend it’s the new law. And the people are so dumbed down and frightened, most just shrug and say oh well.
Wow. First I’ve heard this. Going to hunt for the opinion. I would think something like this would have made a big splash in the press when the opinion and order came down last week.
Moore for SCOTUS.
It is time for states to say to the SCOTUS screw you.
This was a disgrace .
Two SCOTUS judges had been or officiated a sham homo marriage and therefore had a conflict of interest and should have recused themselves.
Other states need to follow, but I guess non one has any balls anymore to do that.
I know this family and many others around here will never accept them as married or as a family, no matter how much they try and play happy families and destroy a young child.
But Tim Cook “loves” his partner’s rear end and deserves to pretend they are a married couple. /s I’m so sick of this nonsense. Yeah I “love” my friends maybe I would die for them, it doesn’t mean I have to marry them.
Congratulations Alabama! Civil unions solve the problem.
The Alabama Supreme Court this morning dismissed petitions by the Alabama Policy Institute, the Alabama Citizens Action Program and Elmore County's probate judge that had sought a landmark ruling declaring the state's prohibition on gay marriage still stands in defiance of the U.S. Supreme Court.Alabama Supreme Court dismisses petitions opposing gay marriage | AL.com | March 4, 2016Today's ruling means same-sex marriage is still intact in Alabama and the petitions challenging it are tossed.
Wow. Just wow. This is righteousness.
Ironies of ironies. Libs love to portray the south for being backwards, ignorant, and uneducated.
But it takes a southern state to throw the BS flag on the sodomite agenda.
Bravo!
The Alabama court is doing its 10th Amendment job! Outstanding!!!
This is the first case on homosexuals issues I have heard of where a State supreme court has nullified the US supreme court’s orders. This should be the hottest news topic of the day!
Excellent
Well, you have to understand that gay marriage and Bruce Jenner really freaked a lot of people out.
A lot of people that won’t talk publicly about it, but I am sure this also has a lot to do with why GOPe are losing, and why Cruz is doing better than Rubio.
"On June 26, 2015, by a bare 5-4 majority, the United States Supreme Court declared that all states must now recognize a fundamental right to "same-sex marriage." Obergefell v. Hodges, 576 U.S. ___, 135 S. Ct. 2584 (2015). Because the Alabama Supreme Court had previously issued orders in this case directing the probate judges of this State not to issue marriage licenses to couples of the same sex, the Court requested briefing on the effect of Obergefell on those orders. See Ex parte State ex rel. Alabama Policy Inst., [Ms. 1140460, March 3, March 10, & March 12, 2015] ___ So. 3d ___ (Ala. 2015). Today this Court by order dismisses all pending motions and petitions and issues the certificate of judgment in this case. That action does not disturb the existing March orders in this case or the Court's holding therein that the Sanctity of Marriage Amendment, art. I, § 36.03, Ala. Const. 1901, and the Alabama Marriage Protection Act, § 30-1-9, Ala. Code 1975, are constitutional. Therefore, and for the reasons stated below, I concur with the order."
good. a few more patriots, this time in Alabama judicial robes, have decided to put themselves between We the People and the “tanks.”
Things are about to get VERY interesting methinks...
Ping
Great exercise of states’ 10th Amendment rights. I hope to see my own state of Texas soon follow suit.
Kiss our grits, Obama!
Woo-hoo!
The Alabama court ruling in no way deprives homosexuals of their right to choose sodomy. It just reaffirms that sodomy and marriage aren’t the same, and in the context of society at large, it really does make a difference.
