I don't negate a lifetime of real conservative activism, often against the GOP, just for some last-moment (needed) help. I also don't put full faith in a NYC opportunist who says what people want to hear at the moment. I see you as the dupe, my friend.

Watch people's actions, not their words. I see decades of acts to put up against Trumps words of the moment (with the most powerful position on earth on the line). Hopefully one of us can gleefully call the other wrong in a few years during a Limited Government renaissance.

Another thing to note recently... we get all over narcissist Obama for using “me, my, I” in almost every sentence of every speech... Looking at the speeches now, it seems clear that Trump is much more similar to Obama in this manner than any other candidate.

what Cruz is helping the establishment, you mean that conservative, the one who is now hired BUSH, that conservative. The one who said two weeks ago that a contested convention would be a bad thing only for him last nights bad results to say he now welcomes a contested convention.

No matter how you look at it, they were his words who is helping the establishment so you defend the establishment then by all means , because that is what you are doing.

That’s interesting because the Bush and the amnesty pimps are lining up behind Cruz. Even now they talk of Rubio at the top of the ticket. Cruz is simply their disposable cut out. Any conservative who votes for Cruz is voting for Romney and his brokered convention.

“Here’s the thing: last time (2014) Lipinski showed up at my train station, I laid into him with an obscenity laden tirade that I won’t repeat here. Granted, I really wanted to do that again yesterday however I’m even MORE angry and P.O’d at Washington DC and the idiots like Lipinski, Ryan, McConnell, etc.. that the only words I could find were “TRUMP 2016!”

I’m from Joliet originally, now living in Piatt County, a truly RED conservative county. Illinois will go Trump! Thanks for giving that POS some hell!!! Keep up the good fight and go TRUMP!!!

He said last night he welcomes a contested convention , that after two weeks of him saying a convention would be a bad thing.

He said that last night what part of that do you not understand that he is now helping the establishment to get their contested convention?

It’s what I don’t understand.
He ran as an outsider and then sees his campaign firewall smashed.
he then makes stupid accusations like the mafia, then repeats the establishment talking points, then hires Bush and now last night states he welcomes a contested convention.

hat part of that do the Cruz voters not understand ?

This is why Trump resonates with the voters

Cruz would have been in car birds seat had he not ignored the South. He took it for granted. Trump did not

“This morning on Fox, Scott Rasmussen (the pollster) was talking about how Trump still needed 60% of the future delegates to clinch the nomination. He was saying it in context of how difficult it will be, that it’s unlikely. This was complete spin. If Trump wins FL and OH, Kasich and Rubio will both drop out. Rubio might not make it there at all.”

Last night all Fox could talk about was all the ways Trump could lose - right after Trump won the 2 big states of the night. I switched to my new favorite station, CNN. At least I expect Van Jones to be biased - he never pretended to be otherwise like the Fox team.

Trump leads in delegates and in the polls for the upcoming states. If he can’t win, according to the Fox team, nobody can!

It’s a long way to November. I am not voting for a lying politician beholden to pro-amnesty voters because of polls 9 months before the general.

You might want to look beyond the misleading headlines someday...

"A contested convention is the great hope of the Republican establishment, it is how they are drowning away their sorrows," Cruz said in late February. "All these crazy voters go one way, we'll step in with all of our money and anoint our white knight to ride in and save the day. That's not going to happen."

Yesterday he simply said he would be OK with a contested convention if it’s a two-man race by July and neither Donald Trump nor the Texas senator has amassed the required 1,237 delegates to win the nomination. “A contested convention is a different thing where you go if nobody gets 1,237 and you’ve got two front-runners. Look, Reagan and Ford battled it out in a contested convention. That’s what conventions are for,” Cruz said. “If you’re fighting with the candidates that have earned the votes of the people and it’s the delegates at the convention who elected to do that, that’s the way the system works.”

That's not a change in position, as much as the Trump smear folks wish it was. Actual quotes tell the real story, not misleading headlines.

“It is disgusting and yet two weeks ago he said a contested convention was a bad thing, and now after a bad night he wants a contested convention”

He also said he would run a clean campaign and he’s the most dirty and lying politician in the campaign.

He is power hungry and will do anything to win. He’s not what he pretends to be.

Yesterday he said to Hannity he did not want a contested convention as that is now what the voters want.
Last night after the results he said he would be OK with a contested convention.

he will say and do anything to get the nomination and it is just another example of Cruz being a lawyer elected official and you support this and the establishment.

Make sure you get your welcome card off the establishment as you are with them now if you are for Cruz whether you like it or not.

Make no mistake the DNC is gripping over that loss. If the same thing happens to Hillary in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania those midwestern and eastern industrial states won’t look like such a gimme to her in the fall.

Hahahahaha! Hohohoho! Hahahaha! Cough..cough.. gasp.. Hahahaha.. Ouch.. my ribs are hurting..

Come on! democrats are coming to Trump’s side, union members are coming to Trump’s side, blacks are coming to Trump’s side, independents are coming to trump’s side, anti establishment are coming to Trump’s side, Tea Party is coming to Trump’s side.

And these are not fanciful polls, they are actual election results. Where do you think the antiestablishment Bernie supporters will go after Clinton narrowly beats him but only because of super delegates? Half will be depressed and stay home, one third will be angry at the establishment and will go to Trump.

For years we have had milktoast representatives like McCain and Rommney that were deadly afraid to confront democratic candidates. Afraid to bring up Bill Ayers connection with Obama, afraid to even say Obamas middle name, afraid to point out his socialist policies and position papers.. And now we have Trump that will make mince meat of Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and their corrupt money for favors Foundation.

Ha! Watch it... If Trump is selected as the nominee, suddenly due to ‘Health’ problems and legal problems Hillary will suspend her campaign and the Democratic Party will select some one that is not such a target rich environment, some one that will not be so easy to beat.
