Former Republican Party nominee Mitt Romney’s speech last week, trashing GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, did little to dissuade voters from supporting the New York real estate mogul.
Thirty-one percent of Republican voters, after Romney called Trump “a phony,” said they are now more likely to cast a vote for Trump and 30 percent of the voters who supported Romney in 2012 said they are more likely to vote for Trump, according to a new Morning Consult poll released Tuesday.
Roughly 20 percent of GOP voters said they’re less likely to support Trump. Forty-three percent of the voters said they didn’t think Romney’s criticisms had an impact.
The Morning Consult poll also suggests Republican voters favor Trump over Romney, as the real estate mogul has a slightly higher favorability rating.

The more you hit the Trump phenomenon, the more people want to vote him in as a “screw you” candidate.
This is so easy for so many of us to see. Why does the MSM and others not see it?
Mitts should have known his tirade would result in many people who just stood on the sidelines in his disastrous POTUS run to go to the Trump Side.

If Milt had really wanted to harm Trump he would have endorsed him.

Opposite. I haven’t heard him go Anti-Trump. He may not have sang the praises that the trump supporters want to hear but he’s never gone full out anti-trump (that I’ve heard).
Today he was saying basically Trump is saying things to get the middle and left to join the coalition that the GOPe has been claiming to need. And Trump is actually doing it.
I took it to mean that Trump was lying about all his left wing items (like supporting planned parenthood). And he was slamming the GOPe because they have a candidate that is actually doing exactly what they say they need to do and they are mad about it.
Mitt refused to campaign for the vote of the lower 47%. And now he has the nerve to tell them (us) how to vote? What an arrogant jerk he is!
I own an S-corp. All income on S-Corps and LLCs flow to your personal taxes. You can write expenses off but it still counts as income.
