PPP's newest Ohio poll finds a very close race on the Republican side- with Donald Trump slightly ahead but perhaps more reasons within the numbers to think that John Kasich will end up winning the state.
Trump leads with 38% to 35% for Kasich, 15% for Ted Cruz, and just 5% for Marco Rubio. The race is pretty fluid though, with only 69% of voters saying they're committed to their current choice, and 31% saying they might change their minds between now and next Tuesday.
If voters do change their minds- especially supporters of Cruz and Rubio who appear to have little chance of being competitive in the state- Kasich is likely to be the beneficiary. Kasich leads Trump 55/40 if voters had to choose just between the two of them. Rubio voters move to Kasich 75/16 over Trump, Cruz voters do so 69/25, and undecideds would pick him 54/11 if Kasich and Trump ended up being the two candidates they chose between. Kasich is also by far the most broadly popular of the candidates in Ohio with a 70/22 favorability rating- only Trump at 48/44 is also on positive ground among the remaining candidates. If more strategic voting happens in the next week, Kasich is likely to be the beneficiary.

[and just 5% for Marco Rubio]
This little guy needs more foam.
Crucial for Trump to win this State.
Trump over performed in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, NH, Nevada, and Massachusetts.
First ads for Trump appearing in Cincinnati this afternoon.
To Ohio people <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From Reddit:
In Ohio, anyone advertising for a particular issue or canadate must be more than one hundred feet away from the polling location. This includes campaign signs. Generally stations will stake a few small American flags ouside the polling station to denote this area.
If you see anyone inside this area advertising for a canadate, inform the people working the station, record them, and inform police via a non emergency line if it becomes apparent that nothing is being done by poll workers. If you see any signs set up inside the voting area (100 ft ring), it is your job as a good American citizen to confiscate them.
Everyone knows this here. The precinct captain goes outside and polices the area all day long. They pace it off to be sure.
Don’t let Kasich’s “can’t we all get along” nonsense fool you. We know Cruz and Rubio are psychotic liars, but Kasich was the only one to tweet the despicable Romney after his lowlife rant about Trump. Kasich’s two wood Tweek? “Well Said”.
“Love Trump but he does have to tone down the attacks”.
Rubio and Cruz are the two on the attack not Trump. All the man does is try and defend himself from a media that despises him to the other three candidates throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him. How he’s kept from busting Rubio or Cruz in the mouth is beyond me. He’s a better man than I am. I couldn’t handle two lowlife POSs lying like they do, without coming completely unglued.
That's actually pretty common. You have to remember that the vast majority of people don't pay attention to politics with the same intensity that members of this site do. So what they see and hear between now and the 15th will have a significant impact on their vote. They won't take time to research the candidates at this point - they will go with how they "feel" about them, based on the news and advertising they are exposed to between now and then.
These opt-in panels are merely profiled volunteers that do not have to live in the state. That makes such polls fairly worthless. Remember MOE is only a projection that if the poll is done exactly the same way again that it should come in within the MOE of the same number. Folks sometimes falsely believe that MOE is a guarantee of the goal of the poll rather than its methodology.
At this point, I’m so fed up with the rude remarks of trump trolls, I hope Kasich takes it just so Trump loses yet another.
If Trump wins tomorrow’s contests than momentum should carry over to the 15th. If it is mixed like Saturday night, well that would not be good. I do think we can spot Cruz Idaho but Trump needs Michigan and Mississippi.
MN Voter Fraud is highly unlikely.
MN is very liberal and doesn’t like confrontation.
This leaves Cruz and Trump out.
How do I know, I live here right now.
Here in OH, I have no idea of how this goes. My sense is that Kay-sick is NOT that popular, but we’ll see.
Good points
Since they included just landlines and the “opt-in” I assumed it had something to do with mobile phone responses.
But the biggest error in the poll was starting if off with “Do you approve of Mussolini?” “Do you approve of the KKK?”
Asking those questions last would have been alright.
In general, yes, although Cruz overpolled in TX.
Yes, I know the state-wide director. We have been contacted here in Dayton, there are walkers, phone banks, I’ve seen a Trump sign behind me but I don’t have one yet.
Trump hater, throwing kitchen seat at Trump!
MN Voter Fraud is highly unlikely.
And that says you are a TROLL.

They have a way with words that I dont, but theyre exactly right. You control the code, you control what your target does, you can inject exploits, back doors, anything. You basically have your hand in the machine while people cast votes. And who was one of KoreLogics first successful pentests?

All this points to a very good reason why the MN GOP could predict results accurately before anyone even voted.

If youre going to take anything away from this article, please take away the hard evidence. I know its fun to run around blaming Diebold, or a potentially innocent caucus employee, but thats not what this article is about. Its about that I think that this warrants a huge investigation. And I want this to be brought to the attention of as many people as possible. Please, tweet it out, share it, I think that were on the verge of discovering something yuuuuuge, as a certain someone would say. All I can say is I hope and pray that theres another explanation.

I believe that the votes cast in Minnesotas GOP primary were fake.
