The Better Business Bureau fired back at a report that it sent Donald Trump a fax in the middle of Thursday nights GOP debate showing Trump University with a A rating.
A video released by Independent Journal implies that BBB sent a fax in the middle of last nights Republican debate, which we did not. The BBB Business Review of Trump Entrepreneur Initiative (formerly Trump University) has shown No Rating continually since September 2015, it wrote in a statement.
The video in question showed Trump hand the debate moderators the fax during a commercial break but it was unable to be used as only the closing statements of the debate were left.
Better Business Bureau just sent it. It just came in. I just got it, he said in the clip published by the Independent Journal Review.

Stagecraft. Trump is a performer.
Wouldn’t that make him a liar like he calls others?...
He may have thought the BBB sent it. He may have lied.
But I can’t believe he’s so stupid that he doesn’t know to look at the sheet and see who sent it. And I KNOW Fox would have been all over this if someone else sent it and Trump really did tell them the BBB sent it. He handed it to them so they had it in their hands and simply could have looked at the number at the top of the page. Kelly would have been showing it on her next show or tweeting it that night.
It won’t matter to the faithful, just as it won’t matter that he was busy having illegal meetings on stage with his campaign staff (which obviously created this “report” for him). Reason and truth do not enter into this.
How would the BBB know where to send a fax DURING a debate?
You mean trump lied? I’m shocked!
If it were a magician, it would be "stagecraft". When it's someone running for President, it's fraud.
If his handlers found it and faxed it, it doesn’t make it any less true. Does the BBB deny giving TEI or DJT the rating indicated on the fax?
I don’t believe Trump said it came from BBB. Fact is, Trump U had been elevated to A- and probably faxed from his team.
“Better Business Bureau just sent it. It just came in. I just got it,” he said in the clip published by the Independent Journal Review.
Where is this clip??
My guess is that one of his staff got it for him and he was misinformed about WHEN it was received from the BBB....
whoops.
Sender information headers in a fax machine are user-settable. I can make mine say I’m you if I know your info.
You must determine the owner of the phone line to get close. For an efax, the owner of the account.
Just how many times do you Cruzers hve to post this pap? This issue has probably been posted here a dozen times already. Enough is enough! Find something else to post.
This was explained a day or two ago.
Some staffer in Trump’s office someplace faxed the copy of the BBB document.
People are so foolish to think this is somehow a condemnation of Trump. It was never claimed that the BBB faxed it during the debate.
No, it the art of the deal when he does it. /sarc
Coker, TPA, Goldman Sach, CFR don’t matter to Cruz faithful. Isn’t it time to stop throwing crap on both sides? There is no perfect candidate just we prefer one or the other.
Watching the melt-down on this thread, it’s easy to understand how Ted Cruz attracts certain people. Their ability to think is severely limited.
Trump gets a piece of paper from a staff member that is new to him, he thinks it just came from the BBB, and he says that.
Would he have to be lying, or could he have simply misunderstood and been wrong?
Of course those with limited thinking ability will immediately come to the conclusion it had to have been a well planed lie.
Once again, Trump has done something dastardly in their opinion. One guy fires off, and others swarm in like children picking up after a broken pinata.
It’s rather comical to watch, because in the end it won’t make a hill of beans worth of difference.
Trump is going to be the nominee, and all the mistakenly jumped to conclusions, will not have mattered at all.
Another trick.
Make a mistake on ANYTHING, no matter how trivial and you are:
A) A liar.
B) Evil incarnate.
(unless you’re Hillary, needless to say).
That not only goes for honest mistakes, it goes for misusing words, mispronouncing words, or, generally, just for being alive.
(of course, this only applies if you’re the front-runner).
Either way, you’re guilty - your supporters are guilty - everyone who’s endorsed you is guilty, your family should be ashamed, and you should immediately drop out of this race and let people who know how to win take over - you know, like Mitt Romney. SNORT.
