GWEN IFILL: Over or not, the battle within the GOP is threatening to split the party in two.
We get views from the pro-Trump and the stop-Trump wings of the party.
Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach endorsed Trump this week, and strategist Henry Barbour is Mississippis Republican National Committeeman. He is backing Marco Rubio.
Gentlemen, thank you for joining us.
So, starting with you, Henry Barbour, what is Donald Trumps success, his electoral successes in the past few weeks, what is It doing to or for the party?
Bush '41 brought in a bunch of liberal traitors, who didn't mind dismantling the US as long as they could fatten on the corpse, like infectious microorganisms attacking a gangrenous limb.
Sometimes I wonder how history would have differed if a terrorist group had nuked Davos about 30 years ago...
There. Fixed that.
Sometimes I wonder how history would have differed, if Reagan had not caved to the GOP blue-bloods and kept George H.W. Bush off his ticket in 1980.
Doing that, may have been the Gipper's greatest mistake.
Ted Cruz would have dropped out if he lost Texas...

Kansas has some dorks for politicians!
I was dealing with the elections office today because they seem to do a good job of messing up voter registrations, and so does the state.
Yesterday I went to the office in person to check my registration status. I’ve tried to register to vote in this state 3 times in the last 4 years, and they still don’t have it right! Hence, the personal visit.
I get the form filled out, go home and send in the proof of citizenship info via email that they asked for. I get a letter in the email asking me if I’d registered!!! Sent yet another registration form...grrrrr
So, I called the election office and made them process my registration right now! She told me that voter registration is going through the roof, and that they are DAYS behind in getting the applications processed.
I personally know several people who will be at the caucus on the 5th, and they intend to vote for Trump. One of the people is a family member who has never voted before, who never registered to vote before. So, there’s a lot of interest on the part of the people in my personal circles who are intending to vote for Trump.
Guess we’ll see what happens.
I’ve never been to a caucus before so this will be interesting..I hope!
Isn’t that Kobach trying to stop illegals and dead Democrats from voting?
If he lost Texas he should have dropped out. I’m glad he wouldn’t have hung on the vine as long as Kasich, Carson and Rubio have.
On that post, we can agree ;-)
They've been very accurate so far this year, so I am reluctant to say they are flat out wrong.
What I find is that some other sites are great on election night, but their numbers drop off after 12-24 hours.
Here's my graphic to denote the different figures.
Perhaps you can get a provisional ballot
