In his role as the donor class's darling, Marco Rubio has enjoyed support from the Republicans' media arm, Fox News. Throughout the primary, Fox provided Rubio with friendly interviews and key bookings, including the first prime-time response to Barack Obama's Oval Office address on ISIS. Many of the network's top pundits, including Stephen Hayes and Charles Krauthammer, have been enthusiastic boosters. Bill Sammon, Fox's Washington managing editor, is the father of Rubio's communications director, Brooke Sammon.
But this alliance now seems to be over. According to three Fox sources, Fox chief Roger Ailes has told people he's lost confidence in Rubio's ability to win. "We're finished with Rubio," Ailes recently told a Fox host. "We can't do the Rubio thing anymore."
Ailes was already concerned about Rubio's lackluster performance in GOP primaries and caucuses, winning only one contest among the 15 that have been held. But the more proximate cause for the flip was an embarrassing New York Times article revealing that Rubio and Ailes had a secret dinner meeting in 2013 during which the Florida senator successfully lobbied the Fox News chief to throw his support behind the "Gang of 8" comprehensive immigration-reform bill. "Roger hates seeing his name in print," a longtime Ailes associate told me. "He was appalled the dinner was reported," the source said.

I don’t get this. Who is Hannity talking to?
So the ‘fair and balanced’ network was in collusion with a presidential candidate in their role to determine the outcome of an election. Utter corruption. Flux Foxey News.
Roger is what Ailes the GOPe and Fox.
Ailes tried to bully Trump, not going to happen.
If the GOPe screws Donald the 10 Billion Dollar Man, his rich 21 billion dollar friend Icahn and Wynn another 10 billion, and maybe Adelson a 30 billion dollar man, could create a third party, buy up a news outlet like Gates did.
The GOPe better be careful not to poke the Tiger.
HA! If he lost Fox News, then he’s lost the establishment as well.
Dollars to donuts, they skip Ted Cruz and start sucking up to Trump.
Wow. So they admit the collusion?
Here's what the Times article said about Hannity:
"Mr. Rubio also reached out to other conservative power brokers, including the radio hosts Mark Levin and Laura Ingraham, telling them that the legislation did not amount to amnesty. The Fox anchors Sean Hannity and Bill OReilly became more supportive."
The Times didn't give any examples of collaboration to back it up.
Or how about, “we decide, you listen.”
So now what? They’re pushing Romney? Or maybe that doesn’t start til after the big speech..
I am try to cut marco some slack because he IS a conservative Senator BUT I really doubt that he’d run a KKK ad against Hillary.

Murdoch: GOP ‘would be mad’ not to unify around Trump if he’s nominee
The Hill ^ | March 2, 2016 | Jesse Byrnes
The way it is written it sounds like he was writing that to Roger Ailes. That would be great if he did, but it would be like him digging his own grave.
Boobio only won MN because of the GOP insiders there, the water or something.
Where has he won? He came up short in VA.
Its dawning on the GOP establishment and its mouthpiece FOX NEWS, that he is not electable.
Hard to make the case when you consistently finish No. 3.
I watched them last night and most were for Donald especially Stuart and Dobbs went along with him. They kept me in stitches.

“Too late, Fox News... see ya”
Speaking to your point, anybody who runs a business or is in a sales capacity lives by a rule: do whatever you can to keep a customer. Because once a customer leaves it is very, very difficult to get them back.
And finding new customers is expensive.
Guess the boys and girls at FOX didn’t get that memo.
I started watching Fox when Matt Drudge was in O’Rielly’s spot. Turned it off 5 years ago and never looked back.
“Roger hates seeing his name in print,” a longtime Ailes associate told me. “He was appalled the dinner was reported,”....

Yeah, I guess it’s embarrassing when you are shown to be a shill for the GOPe.

I watch FOX business. I can’t stand anything on FOX News anymore.
So, now it’s “We Report. We Decide.”??
