John Kasich chimed in and suggested the candidates each hug one another before the debate.

Ben’s a little too late to call for civility. Thursday nights debate is going to get even nastier than last weeks. But I gotta respect the man. Ben is a good guy.

Dr. Carson is a good man, but there is no un-spreading that butter.

“John Kasich chimed in and suggested the candidates each hug one another before the debate.”

Ben’s idea is reasonable. Kasich’s group hug is silly.

If Ben gets his way it will hurt Trump.

Attacking Trump has consistently helped him.

The debates don’t seem to be making any difference to the electorate so might as well be nice.

He has called for a meeting of all the GOP candidates on Thursday, prior to the 11th presidential debate

sounds like a good idea
I too would like to see a cessation of sophomoric behaviors

America is at great risk , our candidates need to reflect a genuine capacity to be able to cope with and deal with that .

One day we will all wake up and things will never be the same . Many will never awake on that day . We owe it to them , in advance , to be ready .

America needs to be led by warriors , not morons , not politicians , not lawyers . Warriors . Prepare thou thy swords (now!)

I think Kasich may have spent too much time with Rubio at foam parties, too!

It is no wonder some of them are rightly refered to as pussies!!

Ben Carson is a good man and gentleman. It sometimes seems like he’s the adult in the room. I know he won’t get the nomination, but I do hope the pick gives him a job as head of Health and Human Services or Surgeon General.

Marco suggested that the best way to get people to loosen up is to have the meeting in a room filled with foam.

I am confident that the five remaining candidates can rise above the sophomoric attacks of past encounters and have a serious discussion about substantive issues and how we will lead our nation forward toward a more prosperous and secure future.

I think his confidence is misplaced.

"I am confident that the five remaining candidates can rise above the sophomoric attacks of past encounters and have a serious discussion about substantive issues. . . ."

Trump is not capable of this. He has not yet been able to rise above the immature insults. He has not been able to discuss the issues with any substance. Trump doesn't have it in him. He's just the wrong person.

Here’s an idea! They should each agree to mention Ben Carson in every comment they make, that way he will get more time than anyone to reply, and tie up 2/3 of the debate time!

I’m a Trumper and I’d love him to join Carson in an attempt to elevate these mosh pits into something less cringe worthy.

Ben Carson calls for candidate meeting before GOP debate on Thursday

Sounds like Carson is forgetting the REAL antagonists ate the THREE Fox moderators who will inevitably ask the "gotcha" questions.

Wallace, Kelly, and Baier cannot be trusted.

I won't be watching.

Stopped watching Fox altogether last August after the low rent $hit by those moderators at that first debate.

When the debate is concluded you will notice that ONCE AGAIN Trump will have been judged in the polls, by the public, as the WINNER

Last debate he came out number ONE in 11 different polls.

Nothing will change no matter what the pundits say.

Trump cannot be stopped.

Is he really expecting Mr. 4th Grade Speaking Level to NOT act sophomoric? I don’t think that is possible.
