Cruz wins Texas. Expected and needed. But Cruz had to defend that wayyy more than he wanted. Won’t get the 50% threshold

I do see myself as one who understands history and human nature better than most Trump supporters.
You clearly do not understand history and human nature if you think that Trump's supporters are irrational.
To: fooman
With less than a third of the states having voted Trump will have garnered more than a third of what he needs.
Winner take all states are coming, and Trump will be harder and harder to beat.

28% of GOPers right now say they prefer Hillary to Trump and wont vote in the general. Theres the problem right there. Trump supporters are the last of Cruz supporters problems, IMO. They're just butt hurt cause their guy lost. When Trump turns his cannon on Hillary and punks her they'll come back.

Assumes Trump wins his Trump U lawsuit, which moved forward today.

Around 10% right now. No where near 50%, delegates will be dispersed proportionally.

I just want to save what is left of our country, and am not sure that is even possible at this point in our decline.
It is not possible. We are in this for the full ride to the bottom. It is only really getting started. Seriously. The madness has spread from the left to the right. Everyone is willing to abandon their principles for change, ANY change, even if it leads them from the frying pan into the fire.
I was a trump supporter until I bothered to educate myself. It wasn’t a sudden change either. I finally had to realize that I was making excuses for him when I shouldn’t have been. At that point the whole thing unraveled - just as my support for Nixon did back in the day.

I dont see myself as holier than thou. However, I do see myself as one who understands history and human nature better than most Trump supporters. We all have our strengths. And weaknesses. I'm a Trump supporter who would be fine with Cruz as my Plan B. I don't really understand all the "Trump is the AntiChrist" rhetoric I've been seeing on FR from Cruz supporters the last few months.
