National Review, a once-venerable conservative publication, has officially gone off the rails entirely, publishing an article calling Sen. Jeff Sessions a prostitute for endorsing billionaire Donald Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.
That abominable attack on perhaps the most revered conservative in the U.S. Senate ran in a National Review piece arguing that anyone who endorses Trump is a rat that is scurrying and is also a sellout.

I agree except one point missed. It was Trump that got the message out about our boarders and put it in the FRONT of the election session. It wasn’t going to be a topic expressed by any of the other candidates.
OK...I just voted for Trump too. I REALLY, REALLY like the paper ballots! I feel confident about my vote being counted correctly for the first time in years.
The GOP establishment is in a tail spin and there is not a thing they can do about it except complain and whine.
National Review has been completely taken over by the so-called neocons. It is a mere skeleton of what it once was. RIP, NR.
I have a very long memory. I'm putting a bottle of champagne in the fridge to have on hand when I hear they've gone under and/or fired that dweeb Rich Lowry. I used to check out NR online a half dozen times a day. Haven't clicked their site for months and never intend to do so again.
Not at all. NRO is starting to make sense to me ...

Hillary, Beck, and the Pope Warned U About Trump

Well folks, now that it’s already too late to get the word out, I am taking this time to gloat. I am evil, and Trump is evil. You might as well get ready to face it — your silly republic is doomed.
Glenn Beck warned you that Trump supporters are all brown shirts.
Hillary Clinton warned you that we are part of a vast right wing conspiracy.
The Pope warned you how evil we are as well.
It is actually worse than they know... [snip]
No sense in canceling you won’t get your money back!!! By NOT renewing as MANY won’t they will receive no more funding BYE, BYE NR!!!!!!

In contrast, the NR staff’s donning of kneepads for Jeb Bush and now for Marco Rubio is a deeply principled act.

Patriot and beloved Sen Jeff Sessions has run unopposed in Alabama and unanimously voted into office for years.

These overseers keep trying to trick/betray/control us to stay on/in their faux conservative plantations by selecting their ilk/puppets as our candidates.

They [NRO] were paid not to stop Obama for 8 years (and they earned lots of money complaining), but they thought they actually held sway over all of us because what? They deemed themselves our leaders?
National review and the GOPe are vestiges of Empire. It's why they're having to Rachel Corrie themselves in front of the bulldozer Post Empire, bottom up campaign of Trump. It's also why the misinformation media complex didn't see it coming. They're more comfortable with Empress Hillary.
The GOP establishment is in a tail spin and there is not a thing they can do about it except complain and whine.
Yep. We need to keep the pressure on and not let the establishment take an inch.
“Many of us are looking forward to seeing the broken bones, drying blood and entrails of the Lying RNC/GOP Open Borders Elite, The Club for Growth, the UniParty, their DC faux conservative pundits, their mediots, their phoney pollsters and focus groups, Faux, ABCNNBCBS, their hired tv and radio hacks strewn across the primary states as much as our victories in those states.”
I’m licking my lips in anticipation of same !
Same here but sans the Champagne. Perhaps a bit of Russian caviar will be ironic.
National Enquirer occasionally prints true and accurate stories. National Review not so much.
He went to the LEFT of the establishment.. TRUMP is the left.. 30,000 Democrats have joined him in Mass. Doesn't that say anything? They aren't all PRO LIFE, SMALL GOVERNMENT Demos either I'd wager!!!
Those on FR who truly think they are getting a good deal this time with Trump will wake up after January and be gasping to even breathe when they realize what has happened. That includes Jeff Sessions who, I've had strong admiration for in the past.
To say this country is divided, is a understatement... The right /conservative is all but shattered..
This election exposed National Review, El Rushbo, Levin, Fox et al. They reek like a week old homicide scene.
Describing a politician as a prostitute is a gross insult to hookers everywhere.
The neocons have gone completely, totally insane over the God Emperor, and I can’t figure out why.
Maybe those Mass. demos are sick of a flat economy? Maybe they’re sick after buying into the promises of democrats as so many conservatives are of buying into what the republican party has been selling us? Maybe their sick of the ruling elites from both parties?
Some may not care one way or the other about abortion. That is true with a lot of labor union voters. They may not care about small government. Not everyone is in agreement with both parties on every single issue. Maybe they’ve had enough of the BS from DC? Maybe they’re in favor of breaking up the establishment?
