If Joe Scarborough were ever, as some have claimed, in the the tank for Donald Trump, he has officially climbed out as of this morning. On today's Morning Joe, reacting to the clip of Jake Tapper's interview, Scarborough called Trump's refusal to forthrightly reject the support of Klansman David Duke "disqualifying."
A bit later, Joe and Mika Brzezinski said that if Trump fails today to clean up the situation, Chris Christie "cannot stay with Donald Trump's campaign."

I don’t typically agree with anyone just because they say something. But yeah, my take on the video is different than yours.

That is a false choice. Cruz is ahead of Rubio in most polls, and actually has a chance to win some states on Super Tues. Rubio does not. In any case I will wait until after super tue to see what happens.
Interesting how the old and tattered race card is what they’re trying to pull on Trump. What I’d give to see these hacks banging their collective heads against the wall, trying to come up with something...anything...to attack Trump.

Will you disavow every group that the ADL disavows?
Or all candidates on both sides are looking bad as the case may be. Regardless, with his inept handing of the Duke endorsement Trump has guaranteed that the Democrats will make a campaign issue out of it in the fall. He is doing their work for them.

National polls are hot garbage. Cruz is at 10% in Florida. 12% in Alabama. Etc. He can’t win a general if he can’t get elected dog catcher in a GOP primary in Alabama. Sorry.
I would say there is not any group that I agree with 100%. Not even southern Baptists (which I am one). I can’t really think of any group that I would agree with 100% of the time. I will tell you that I disavow David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan... Does that help clarify my position?

I’m a little confused I guess. What kind of “trap” would it have been for him to flatly disavow Duke and the KKK on CNN? Seems to me that should be a conditioned response to any reporter question on the matter.
And if he was “having trouble with his earpiece”, why would he say “I don’t know who David Duke is or anything about white supremacy”?
This response just doesn’t make any sense given he had just disavowed Duke two days earlier. I give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s not a racist, but this response is, let’s just say...not helpful.
I already knew you disavowed David Duke and the KKK.
But will you disavow Duke, the KKK, and the other groups?

He took a question on that Friday at the press conference and disavowed him, he disavowed him again Saturday at his rally in Bentonville.
Now why he was wishy washy with Tapper I can’t speak to. I suspect he thought the question might a gotcha question and wanted to hedge his remarks on it.
The ADL disavows the Bundy’s in Nevada as radicals.
It disavows anti-abortion groups as haters.
I don’t know which groups you are talking about specifically and would not want you to read anything into my statement, but I would tell you this and feel confident standing on this statement. I believe all men were created equal and given certain unalienable rights. I believe that our Father in Heaven loves each of us equally and we’re commanded to do the same. I would not support any group that seeks to elevate one race above the other, whether white, black, Asian or whatever. I am familiar with David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan and based on what I know, I would never have anything to do with him or that organization. I’m confident they go against my core beliefs that God created all of us equally and loves all of us the same.
I can’t agree with that. Imho, they have gone too far afield from their original goal(s).

I thought ADL was like ADD only for liberals....
So glad there’s people who have total recall im a split second of every name they’ve ever heard.
If I don’t like candidate’s policies, I have no need to look at ‘issues’ like a nasally voice, gay boots or a small penis. It’s a non-issue.
