You’re not alone. Some folks are heavily into him as a lifestyle choice. I know people that buy a lot of the things they buy based on M.M. content.

That KKK/Duke stuff being pushed today is the height of desperation and it’s sickening. Cruz has shown himself to be a lapdog of the powers that be for peddling that junk.

I can only assume that Senator Sessions, who is my 2nd favorite senator, felt that it would be just too hard for Cruz to work with a Congress that just doesn’t like him.

It’s really all a moot discussion since Cruz is polling at 12% in the Alabama GOP primary. He’s not going to win a general election against a Dem if he can’t rally GOP supporters in Alabama.

Saying someone is wrong is not the same as calling them a liar

Except when the person "saying someone is wrong" about TPA/TPP is joined at the hip with Paul Ryan.

Another day, another disappointment. Alot of people are in for a rude awakening when Trump exposes his true self

Yes, another “RINO” endorsement for Trump. Maybe it’s time for the Cruz dead enders to reassess? The choice now is Trump or Rubio. Choose wisely, FRiend.

Indeed. Cruz has become largely irrelevant.

I am concerned it will be that period between November election and the installation of the next president...if it turns out to be Trump.

We must stop it. Unfortunately the Republicans are the ones most of the votes that allowed it to pass the Senate. We must use the election of Trump to send a clear message NOT to vote that through.

We will need Cruz in the future. Cruz needs to learn how to win an election by watching Trump. Remember, the Senate election was his first....he has made many rookie mistakes this time around.

Indeed. As someone said, this is not Cruz's time. Not yet.

I know you are for Cruz, but I think Trump has run a pretty close to perfect campaign. Cruz actually has been shocking at his antics. Cruz really had this nomination made for him, but for some reason he went why off the tracks. It is really rather weird.

On this we mostly agree. Trump HAS run a mostly awesome campaign. he has been by far the shrewder politician. But to say that Cruz had it made and messed up I have to disagree with. He has fought his own party too much to have the party embrace him. And he personally took most of the brunt from the MSM for standing up and trying harder than anyone else in the Senate. he took the blame for the government shutdown, and the slow-downs and stops on Judicial appointments. So he had it tough from both sides. He was INSIDE - yet an OUTSIDER having to fight both parties.

Trump planned it well to come in full barrel against both parties, and immediately attacked the republican Congress as ineffectual which they have been against Obama and Reid. His claims to "we will win" were very shrewd. Cruz couldn't fight both parties and win. And we are all damned tired of losing. And damned tired of being lied too, about what will get done. Trump tapped into that sentiment, and thereby was able to paint Cruz - the biggest fighter in the Senate for what he was elected for - as part of the "losing"

I hope we all like the deals trump makes. And I hope we all can stomach what he will really accomplish against a Democrat Senate that can filibuster his every wish. And against a constant drumbeat from the MSM. rememeber how they treated Bush, and Reagan. It will be WAY worse against Trump. And above all I hope that Trump can even beat Hillary. I seriously doubt it - once the general election starts- she and her MSM press will eviscerate him. That will help anger many of the rest of us republicans to his side, but it will wipe out his chances with moderates, independents, and cross-over Dems. That's what I honestly fear. Then we have another Clinton term in the White House, and at least two more liberal supreme court justices, and it's all over.

<< My ultimate goal is to see DC ripped to shreds....>>>>

Curiously similar to ‘fundamental transformation’ from Obama, or ‘political revolution’ from Bernie. Both socialists / communists.

I want our constitutional republic to be restored in a thoughtful, firm, and permanent manner. Mr. Trump is clearly the front runner but has changing political views.

Well, I think Obama grew and strengthened DC—DC had no recession—government—all aspects and entities of government have increased. The Uniparty is destroying the United States.

Obama’s transformation of America involved wealth distribution, government control, and demographic shifts.
\
Though you might think “DC ripped to shreds” is same as what Obama was saying, upon closer examination, I believe poster is wanting to clean up and clean out Washington...

Yes, He claimed Trump was behind the robo-calls from a white supremacist group.

Cruz had to know that Trump disavowed Duke on Friday, but today, Cruz is pushing this garbage. No one could honestly believe that Trump would be behind David Duke. Sounds like a dirty trick to me. I wonder who is really behind David Duke.

These dirty tricks smack of desperation...Trump is leading, so he does not need to resort to this type of low-brow politics.
