CNN anchor Jake Tapper repeatedly asked Donald Trump on Sunday to denounce David Duke's support for his candidacy, but Trump insisted he didn't know anything about about the former KKK grand wizard.
"Will you unequivocally condemn David Duke and say that you don't want his vote and that of other white supremacists in this election?" Tapper asked Trump on "State of the Union."
But Trump, the Republican presidential frontrunner, said he didn't have enough information to answer the question:
I don't know anything about David Duke, OK? I don't know anything about what you're even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists. So I don't know. I mean, I don't know did he endorse me or what's going on? Because I know nothing about David Duke. I know nothing about white supremacists. And so you're asking me a question that I'm supposed to be talking about people that I know nothing about.
BuzzFeed reported last week that Duke, a prominent white nationalist, urged his supporters to back Trump. Duke was quoted saying on his radio show that "voting against Donald Trump at this point is really treason to your heritage."
On his Sunday show, Tapper continued to press Trump on the subject.
"Even if you don't know about their endorsement, there are these groups and individuals endorsing you. Would you just say unequivocally that you condemn them and you don't want their support?" he asked Trump.
But Trump again insisted again he didn't know about Duke:
I have to look at the group. I mean, I don't know what group you're talking about. You wouldn't want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about. I have to look. If you would send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them.

At this point, the KKK is the government, it is only used to divide people, what the government is only good at
No one is required to answer ambush questions from biased, Left Wing “journalists.” No one. That’s something the pussies - there I said it - in the Republican Party can’t seem to learn.
So DID know all about Duke and the KKK?
This kind of crap is exactly why we need more pressure on the media to be held libel
He has bright lights shining in his face for the camera shot and his eyes are probably light sensitive. That’s often the case of ppl with blue eyes.
Good call!
It’s not FR. FR is loaded with a boatload of shills who pop out during political season.
The point is to poison the voting pool. It’s the oldest trick in the book and it goes a long way back.
People are actually PAID to do this on behalf of the candidates.
I think that condemning a person every time they do anything good, bad, or indifferent is shunning. Shunning typically is practiced by religious communities and it has a very checkered track record as a means of behavior modification.
Despite your insulting remarks, the number I quoted came from a television show that was looking for the smartest kid in the USA. I watched it before this election cycle but the number stuck in my head. One of the first results that comes up in an Internet search this morning is this from a columnist who says he is the one who revealed in a 2004 New York Times article that George Bush had a higher IQ than John Kerry. So he is probably a more credible source than the TV show. About Donald Trump's IQ he says,
“Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and anthropology. Mensa doesn't accept SAT scores from after 1994. However Mr Trump was a student at Wharton when it was possible to derive an accurate IQ core from known SAT scores. Given the usual requirements for admission to a top school like Wharton, I estimate that Mr. Trump has a 156 IQ at the minimum.
The standard description of this level of intelligence is Genius Exception intellectual ability and capable of looking beyond known facts. However, the percentile rating is more revealing than the raw score. A 156 IQ is at the 99.9905490555 percentile. That means that Donald Trump is smarter than 99.99 percent of the people on planet earth. Not only does Trump qualify for membership in Mensa but he could join the Triple Nine Society.”
I'm still, probably foolishly, adhering to the "don't pull the same crap as the full-chimp-mode opposition" ethic.
;-)
Perfect!
Trump did the right thing ...why should he play on Tapper’s terms ? ...this is the latest attack angle on Trump and it will only strengthen Trump ... i’m not surprised to see some on here cheerleading this latest ploy ...
Interesting, because Trump was really quick to answer this question when it was put to him at the “Christie endrosement” presser. No hesitation, “I disavow the endorsement.”
Prior to this interview Trump has disavowed himself from David Duke more than a few times. Tapper trying to make an issue where there is none.
So the 1st few threads you posted were not enoguh?
You know better then to spam post.
If you listened to his last few speeches prior to this interview you would know that he has categorically disavowed himself from Duke! This is a non issue.
