A newly whispered rumor involves Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich having preliminary discussion about Gingrich's involvement in a Trump White House as the potential new president's Chief of Staff.
Trump is said to have made clear his intention to surround himself with a mix of business-savvy men and women as well as some who have considerable experience dealing with the monstrosity that is D.C. politics.
The former Speaker of the House and 2012 presidential candidate was the last to lead a Congress that was willing to send to the president's desk a balanced budget, and Trump appears increasingly interested in utilizing Gingrich's considerable talent and know-how to keep his White House on task and on time in delivering the kind of change Mr. Trump's millions of supporters are hoping for in 2017.

Rudy for AG.
I had pegged Newt for SOS but chief of staff would be a good pick too.
You are bringing it back!
That would be very smart. No one knows how this town operates better, or has a better grasp on both the legislative and historical aspects of pretty much everything that happens or has happened in government.
I can’t see Newt being as low key as the Chief of Staff has been traditionally, that may be a problem. But he does seem to know when to maintain a low profile .. not sure he can do it on a full time basis.
Absolutely. Here's the video (35 second mark).

They damaged themselves don’t be a victim.
Well - I haven’t been damaged, so how can I be a “victim”.
But, if you go around calling people a liar .. it then makes it harder to change your mind and say .. maybe .. I didn’t really mean it, I’m not sure .. WHAT is Trump going to say to be able to use Ted Cruz and his Constitutional skills. He’s not.
Without that knowledge from such a talented Constitutional scholar, Trump is going to be in hot water up to his earlobes .. ON DAY ONE .. guaranteed.
2016 isn’t for the faint of heart.
You sure have that right.
But, we’re tougher than we seem.
And if you look at my record, you will see that I was the first to mention Newt for VP...excepting...his age doesn't work as VP...so I later recommended him for a personal advisor to Trump.
“Gingrich is a genius and a loose cannon.”
Let’s hear it for the loose cannons! Way better than the dickheads we have today who do nothing and get paid princely sums for it.
