A newly whispered rumor involves Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich having preliminary discussion about Gingrich's involvement in a Trump White House as the potential new president's Chief of Staff.
Trump is said to have made clear his intention to surround himself with a mix of business-savvy men and women as well as some who have considerable experience dealing with the monstrosity that is D.C. politics.
The former Speaker of the House and 2012 presidential candidate was the last to lead a Congress that was willing to send to the president's desk a balanced budget, and Trump appears increasingly interested in utilizing Gingrich's considerable talent and know-how to keep his White House on task and on time in delivering the kind of change Mr. Trump's millions of supporters are hoping for in 2017.

I wouldn’t start spending yet.
If true, this is Trump’s way of pissing all over Paul Ryan and I love it. Trump would in essence have the Speaker of the House working for him.
Considering that Newt did more IN ONE DAY when he ran the House than today’s GOPe have been able to do in 5 YEARS, this certainly sounds like a good choice to me.
Excellent!
“Can can listen to Gingrich talk for hours he fascinates me”
And if Newt can convince Trump to harden us up a bit against an EMP attack, MILLIONS, maybe hundreds of millions of lives could well be saved when that moment comes - and it will come, and very soon.
It needs to be someone who will help Trump to steamroll the obstructionists in Congress, not make deals with them. Whoever is tasked by Trump to deal with Congress needs to take Trump’s lead and always put the opposition on the defensive. They need to spend the next four years petrified of losing their jobs and reputations. The goal for the next four years should be to make them as uncomfortable as possible.
John Bolton would be worth considering, too. I would imagine he and Trump would get along great.
Newr in there makes it certain that our complete vulnerability to an EMP attack will be addressed.
Well .. I guess we get to thank Trump for damaging them.
Hmmm?
Now, when Trump needs their expertise, it won’t be available.
Can Gingrich Can-Can?
He is. As Chief of Staff he can be fired. As VP, he’s there for the duration.
Yep. Kim Jung Un launched that missile carrying a ‘satellite’ which was released into orbit directly over the Superbowl. If that wasn’t a chilling EMP threat, I don’t know what is.
The problem was as speaker it fascinated him too much. I liked Gingrich early but once he could command microphones not so much.
“Donât forget Ben Carson. He would make a great VP or Cabinet member.”
Carson for Surgeon General.
It would say absolutely nothing about his immigration plan. Only idiot Cruztards would assume that because a boss hires someone to do a job that it somehow changes the policies of the boss.
“Hope he finds a spot for Allen West,.”
Secretary of Defense.
If Gingrich is appointed Chief of Staff, whatever you do don’t make him use the rear staircase on Air Force One.
Good choice.
” Rubio and Cruz are going to e so damaged by this campaign in Donaldâs eyes that Trump will need ppl like Newt, Christie.”
Cruz will be , at the least, still a Senator.
Rubio will be ....
looks like a ‘one hit wonder’.
Riding into the sunset- he hits his head on the ‘THE END’ sign
“If true, this is Trumpâs way of pissing all over Paul Ryan and I love it. Trump would in essence have the Speaker of the House working for him.”
Exactly right. Ryan is a neophyte at the job and Newt is the old hand who knows the ropes. Lord please let it be so.
