That was THE bombshell of the night. Post debate interview Cruz said he'd endorse Rubio (open borders, Scamnesty, establishment boy toy) over Trump.
Obviously a deal what cut (promotion at Goldman Sachs for Cruz's wife likely included) where Rubio and Cruz got together pre-debate to bash Trump. They'll endorse each other if they lose their home states.
Goes to show how strongly Cruz feels about deporting illegals. Not at all. These politicians stick together.

Yep, Cruz showed his true colors. He supports Rubio over Trump. The so called "outsider" is teaming up with the GOPe. It should come as no surprise since both are part of the political class. When push comes to shove, they will support one another against the outsider.
Cruz was very spiteful after the debate. Starting on Trumps taxes, he questioned the audit, then jumped to, Trump committed tax fraud, or maybe he committed tax fraud, or what if he committed tax fraud and was indicted, then rattled on about some ethics violation for Trump not publishing his tax returns (no such thing). Then to top it off Cruz would endorse an amnesty candidate GOPe darling? to quote a song, ‘He’s come undone”
Run the table, Trump.
But Trump is still a Democrat. And one who uses his passion to attack a Christian girl.
Cubans sticking together to eff America.
CNN post debate interview with Cruz, roughly of the nature described in the OP. Rubio better candidate than Trump, Rubio better president than Trump.
