Woo-Hoo!
Hi Everybody!
((((HUGS))))
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
Quack! Quack! Quack!
Brings a tear to my eye; many happy days at NAS Pensacola learning to fly....
Good evening, Pro...is it spring yet?
Have you found anything to get you out of the house?
The Cradle of Naval Aviation has trained countless pilots, navigators, etc. I see the student helicopter pilots overhead every time I go out. One of their auxiliary fields is near my house.
The Museum there is AWESOME!

I'm getting closer to....Doing Something.
There is a great museum at NAS Pensacola.
One of the things which fascinated me was the cutaways of various aircraft engines.
Today was a sad day for me. I had to put my girl down. She was the sweetest border collie ever. She was with me almost fourteen years. I’m heart broken over it.
So sorry. We have been through it. Its a terrible thing.
It sure is! We went to the awesome Naval Aviation museum last summer. It was overwhelming with all the cool planes, models of several aircraft carriers, and such. I wore out my poor camera snapping pix.

The FR Canteen is Free Republic's longest running daily thread
specifically designed to provide entertainment and moral support for the military.
The doors have been open since Oct 7 2001,
the day of the start of the war in Afghanistan.
We are indebted to you for your sacrifices for our Freedom.
Howdy, PRO.
Was today a lucky one for you?
An overnight aboard USS Alabama followed by a Sunday at the museum is a fun weekend. I will be doing that trip this weekend.
