Washington (CNN) - Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus defended his party Sunday, after exit poll results from South Carolina showed more than half of voters felt "betrayed" by the Republican Party.
Priebus argued that it was not reflective of his party, but instead of more widespread anger at the federal government and politics in general.
"I think that if you look at all these exit polls on both sides of the aisle, I think people are just sick and tired of politics in general, sick and tired of Washington, D.C., and I think just actually sick and tired of both parties," Priebus said on ABC's "This Week" Sunday.

“I don’t think we’re going to have a convention, a brokered convention. I think it’s unlikely. I think I’m doing better than that,” he said.
Huh. Wonder what THAT means?
Priebus argued that it was not reflective of his party, but instead of more widespread anger at the federal government and politics in general.

No Rinse...we’re mostly pi$$ed at the GOP Establishment! You’ve given Obama everything he wanted and more, and stabbed us in the back after we gave you two landslides!
What an idiot!
Meanwhile, some Republicans are ready to cave and give Obama another appointment to the USSC. Priebus needs to go.
They forced McCain, Romney, and Trump on us.
The GOP **approved** of the IRS audits of the Tea Party.
It is the TEA PARTY they most fear.
They do NOT like us.
They're EMBARRASSED by us.
"Where did you learn your trade? You fairy.....you company man!"
You guys tried to shove BUSH down our throats even after it was obvious we didn’t want him.
You’re still working against us. It’s obvious.
It is reflective of the leadership of the gop.
Reince,
What happened to Chris McDaniel in Mississippi wasn’t because of Washington. It was because of the republican ruling establishment not wanting another conservative elected.
What happened in Mississippi was just standard procedure for the GOPe. They’re afraid of conservatives even more than the democrats. So, yes, Reince, we have been betrayed.
The GOPe and RINO bastards can go to hell.
Don’t forget Ole Dole, the man who had no idea why he wanted to be president other than it was just his turn to be nominee.
I like that.
They forced McCain, Romney, and Trump on us.
Please. You couldn’t possibly think that Trump was a product of the GOPe.
We are sick and tired of Republican leadership CAVING on EVERYTHING!
If they cave on Scalia’s SC replacement, they will once again prove why we are so justifiably angry with them.
Priebus is one of the main reasons no one will trust the GOPe.
No Reince, we’re tired of a Republican Party that continually caves, plays only defense, and is scared of upsetting Democrats and Obama. When McConnell says they won’t fight Obama’s agenda the rest of his term, and hint Obama will win a SCOTUS nominee, you’re da## right we’re upset - at the Party!
Rinse is as dumb as a rock.
