I think I heard Hillary just say in her Nevada victory speech on Fox... We all want to get secret unaccountable money out of politics....

Did anybody else hear that?

I called it for Hillary 3 hours ago. Elephantine Clark County was staying 55/45 Hillary as the votes gradually came in.

>Who do people on FR “want” as the Dem nominee?

I very much share your concern about Bernie. He could catch fire and if that were to happen at the same moment Trump was loosing steam for whatever reason, we could end up with a severe Berning sensation. That would indeed be a tragic outcome for our republic. I personally believe Shillary is easier to beat with all her years of swamp grime while she stands there swearing she doesn’t stink as everyone near her holds their nose, but if that is true, Bernie should be able to trounce her, which he may well do.

If not Trump, then who?
There seem no viable answer to this question.

Very scary times we live in.

Well, technically they are a voting machine but it’s actually a time saving ‘Coin Flipping’ machine that’s preloaded with double sided coins.

“Men are a minority in the country.”

Men are a minority in the Republican Congress.

Checked the link just now, 81% in and still Clinton up 4 points. Only about 10,000 votes in all.

She showed up at the meeting with Dingy Harry and dropped a thigh master by his feet.

That might be the case on the republican side but no matter how much she might squeal poverty she’ll remain well funded.

Here in Bernie’s own words is his response to his “loss” in Nevada.

Sisters and Brothers -
The final results are in from Nevada and it looks like we’re going to leave another state with roughly the same number of delegates as Hillary Clinton, maybe down just a few.
I want to be completely clear with you about what this result means: Nevada was supposed to be a state “tailor made” for the Clinton campaign, and a place she once led by almost 40 points. But today, we sent a message that will stun the political and financial establishment of this country: our campaign can win anywhere.
There are 26 primaries and caucuses in the next month, and three straight positive results for our campaign are sure to prompt an over-the-top response from the millionaires and billionaires who are funding our opponent and her many super PACs.
We have to be prepared for their best shot, because it’s coming:...Bernie

Dennis Miller on Facebook: Bernie doesn’t seem to grasp that it’s as rigged as he says it is.

Caucuses usually go to the better organization and Clinton had the better one. She should win South Carolina comfortably so she's rolling now.

Knew this was coming the minute I heard voting machines were down for several hours in multiple locations.”

I thought caucuses were pieces of paper.

I recall in 2008 I was delighted Hillary was losing nearly every week. I figured there was no way a black inexperienced incompetent senator from my home State could ever get elected in the general.

Be carefuL what you wish for smacked me in the face then, so I'm a little more on guard now.

It looks to me that Trump will likely get the Repub nomination. I know so many Dems who said they would never vote for Clinton, and he would destroy her in the general. Trump will get lots of crossover democratic votes. That wouldn't happen if Bernie wins.

If she gets indicted, then all bets are off. Uncle Joe could be formidable especially if Pocahontas is the VP.

I live in Nevada but I am not sure how the democrats run their caucus as it is different than how the republicans do. As I understand it, the voters go stand in area for their candidate, and then the people in each group are counted. I am not completely sure this is exactly how it is done because as I said we do it differently in the Republican caucus (which is next Wednesday, starts at 5 pm.) We organize by precinct, have about an hour for discussion, and then vote by secret ballot, which I think is a better way to do it.
