...

"He has been a liberal his entire life," Cruz told Fox News, noting that Trump has made contributions to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Secretary of State John Kerry.

Very well said. Cruz is just making things up. He smells of desperation. Trump’s approvals in SC are above 40% now and Cruz is at half that. The presidency is disappearing in the rear view mirror for Cruz and he is liking like it is. Amazing watching this guy totally crack up.

Actually, Ted is likwely correct about this. Trump is not a conservative in the sense of Constitutionalism. He would try to appease both sides with a nominee, when what we need is another as close to Scaliaism as possible.

Yes, you’re correct. George Washington was a great man.

But what does it say about Cruz that he can’t beat Trump. I was led to believe Cruz was a great debater, brilliant, the next Ronald Reagan. I can’t recall a single moment of Cruz eloquence in the debates. It’s discouraging, to say the least.

"So if Trump were to be president, you would fully support people in his administration publicly opposing his decisions? Or even refusing to support them? "

Cruz specifically endorsed Roberts, stating that in his opinion, Roberts was a "constitutional conservative." He really believed it or he was lying. I think he really believed it. He was wrong. Ergo, his argument is false.

If so, there is absolutely no guarantee Cruz could know if anyone was a "constitutional conservative." Ergo, there is no guarantee he'd pick judges any better than trump. Even Reagan had a clinker.

“It will be Donald J. Trump. The greatest American since George Washington”

Lincoln, Coolidge, Reagan, MacArthur? Were they chopped liver? They actually did things to help this country instead of playing beauty pageant.

Do you think “build the wall” is liberal? Just curious. How about” bring our jobs back” ? You don’t like that. Ok, How about “ Support our Vets” . That is outrageous to you ,right? How about “Bergdahl is a traitor” ? Wrong!! right? What is a clearly stated position that Trump takes that you viscerally hate so we can find out what you really are. Speak UP!!

Behold: Trump psychosis on the hoof.

Ignore it, it's an obvious disruptor n00b troll.

There are a few doing the same to Cruz.....must be the silly season.

someone prepped Trump...

Even if true, how does that justify the others not having choices in mind? Either (1)they need to be prepped and didn't anticipate the question or (2)they don't need to be prepped but had an answer

Either way, it doesn't indicate that Cruz or any of the others is a superior choice for President.

I don’t think he is liberal or conservative...I think he sees a big problem with this country and feels it will take a lot more than the “politics as usual” that we’ve had for the last 25 years...

We need a big change in the way things are done and being a no-nonsense businessman, he sees a different way...

He talks about security, economics, immigration, etc, in a way that professional politicians are too scared to talk...

I really don’t think he cares whether you or I or himself are conservative, liberal, whatever...

He’s more concerned with getting this country back on even keel than he is placating a political class or party...

It is not only for the American people, but also for his business interests...if this country fails, and it is headed in that direction, his businesses also fail...

That’s MY thoughts

He already picked, on stage at the debates. I don’t think they were liberal.

re: should Cruz have refused to support Roberts if he didn’t think he was a good choice? YES!! It’s called integrity.

Sorry, not willing to stake the presidency on a presto chango campaign conservative who has spent his entire adult life supporting leftists and leftist causes. That would be stupid.
