Donald Trump continues to grow his lead in Virginia as he leads Marco Rubio by 14 points â 33-19%.
Trumpâs lead has grown since we last polled Virginia back in early January, when he had a 28% share of likely primary votersâ support. John Kasich and Marco Rubio have also seen gains of 13 and 5 points respectively. Cruz is currently down 7 points from the previous poll while Ben Carson has seen his support drop 9 points.

I am proud of Cruz doing so well when he was at 3 percent at one time.
But I see Trump is maintaining big leads and I hope he sticks to his positions and matures more and more as the election process continues.
Nice!!!
So you have no problems with the lies that cruz has been spewing?
I thought this line was worth noting.
I have no problem with them....none at all...there’s no reason to.
Calm down, Lena.
What about the extremely dirty tricks ?
I have no problem with them....none at all...thereâs no reason to.There's one sure thing about having an association with admitted and known liars...You'll be the next one lied to...again and again.
FWIW, I have been cyberscreaming for MONTHS now to Cruzers who have been going after Rubio and letting Kasich gain traction. When Kasich gains traction, he's a wily and disciplined campaigner. Kasich has gone over to the dark side. He's a total Democrat except for his lust to finance deep-pocket donor initiatives.
Cruzers don't listen. It makes one wonder what their agenda is! grrrrr......
Like the entire candidacy of Donald Trump, the accusation of “dirty tricks” has no substance or merit beyond your ability to repeat it ad nauseam. On the other side of it were asking about your candidate’s support of Planned Parenthood or his Howard Dean moment whereby he’s actually bringing the Iraq War and WMDs into the 2016 presidential campaign while also blaming George W. Bush for the September 11th attack. He almost seems to forget which party’s nomination he’s seeking but the confusion is understandable when you look at his voter registration history.
The irony is rich given that you tag Kasich as a total Democrat while ignoring Donald Trump was quite literally a registered Democrat that contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats including the Democrat nominee, Hillary Clinton, and you have the nerve to question our agenda?
Kasich is a total democrat....expanding Medicaid, likes cheap foreign labor for his deep-pocket buddies, supports Common Core, benign about abortion, balances the state budget by starving local governments, finds tricks to over-ride conservative votes by his legislature, was silent when a woman was senselessly murdered by an invader in a safe state park. So I give up. How does fearing Kasich get to be anything but consistent with favoring Trump?
My problem is you can look at Kasich and his record but overlook Trump’s record. That’s all I’m saying. I don’t see Kasich registering in SC as a contender..he’s broke and a poor showing will end his campaign.
They're polar oppositions in terms of growth through life.
Why the concern? Kasich is too much of an unknown, hiding under the radar while he gains some traction. I worry the backstabbers could cobble up something for him in a brokered convention.
Let’s contrast: you say Kasich is a total Democrat but Trump being a registered Democrat who gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Democrats doesn’t worry you, you say Kasich wants cheap labor for his donors but Trump’s use of cheap illegal labor doesn’t worry you, you say Kasich wants to expand Medicaid but Trump’s support for socialized medicine or his 60 Minutes interview remark about insuring everyone doesn’t worry you, and all I’m trying to tell you is that I’m with you on Kasich but can’t see how you can excuse Trump’s record. The fact that he wasn’t in office doesn’t excuse it and this wasn’t from his wayward teenage years but the recent past. This isn’t Trump transformation into a conservative but rather telling Republican voters things that they want to hear in order to obtain power. I see Kasich’s campaign ending after Saturday. It will come down to whether or not Cruz can pull off another upset and if Rubio, Bush, and Carson lose bad enough to drop out or hang in for more losses on Super Tuesday.
