The former president remains popular among Republicans.
During his appearances on various Sunday morning political shows, Donald Trump backtracked on some comments he made about former president George W. Bush during the Republican debate the previous night.
Trump, as he has done multiple times throughout this presidential race, invoked the Iraq War as a way to criticize Jeb Bush for his brotherâs actions. âThe World Trade Center came down during your brotherâs reign, remember that,â Trump told Jeb, eliciting boos from the audience. Then regarding former president Bush starting the unpopular Iraq war, he said, âThey lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction and there were none. And they knew there were none.â

the dirt and phone/etc tapping I believe is extremely deep in DC
“His word is his bond. Or until the next day, his other different word is his bond. Or the next day, his original word is back to his bond.”
Wonder why such a rough and tumble guy would be such a mush ball? Mr. “I’ll say anything I damn well please....” Hmmmmmmmph.
I wonder if this is going to end up another billionaire wingnut crawling under the carpet to escape the helicopters while Clinton waltzes back into the WH. Hey...maybe she’ll be able to complete that set of China!
We’ll see. You could be right. I think the American people want it, and I expect Trump to give Congress hell if they try to deny it.
I also expect the Republican base to primary anyone who gives Trump grief over the agenda we’re voting for.
This IS NOT business as usual, and Congress better get with the program. We’re not kidding around.
Hypocrite. We heard what you said.
“I think the American people want it, and I expect Trump to give Congress hell if they try to deny it.”
Trump can’t stand up for his opinions overnight. What in the world makes you think he will stand up to Congress for his election promises? He’ll put a finger in the air and then decide. Billionaires are not used to being held to anything and they hold only their own counsel. They are held only to what they THINK they should say. Not to what they actually say.
He has no compass. He has changed parties FIVE times. I honestly don’t think he will be able to tolerate this through to the nomination. He threatened to pull out of the party just this morning. Remember Ross Perot, the little gutsy Billionaire who stood up for us? Yeah, this is him, on stilts, with a comb over.
Good grief. Donald Trump, man of the people, champion of the Republican Party, committed conservative. Hmmmph. What kind of Delusional pixie dust are y’all spreading in here?
Too late. That bell has been wrung loud and clear.
I liked and respected George W. Bush..before he became a Pussy..
sucked up to the Clinton’s and refused to DEFEND HIMSELF WITH B.HUSSEIN OBAMA...
TO ME THAT SAYS....PUSSY
I really liked George until he went all in for the criminal immigrants.
I walked my district even though it was 70% democrat talking up George, in 2000 and 2004.
Exercise in futility here in San Jose, CA.
After the betrayal i did not vote for 6 years.
The rational/cynical part of me reminds me that my vote for president will not count, living in CA.
You don’t think Trump will use Eminent Domain? lol
This wall project is a w** dream for a builder/developer. A trophy project. If America elects him I wouldn’t bet against it.
Every single one of you forgets that Bush started with a bad recession from Bill Clinton, did the right thing with taxes in his first year which started turning the economy around, then 9/11 hit and destroyed our financial network and cost our economy massive damage.
His administration got hit with more crap than any other administration since FDR.
I find that your tag line pretty well describes Trump:
(The mind of a liberal...deceit, desire for control, greed, contradiction and fueled by hate.)
You didn’t even hear what he said?
And you are still supporting him blindly?
Enjoy winning with a bitter bitter man who isn’t going to make it to the White House.
The guy is off his rocker.
Actually, he has a technique of jumping full bore into the chasm, then calling Ted Cruz a liar for describing the jump accurately.
Yep. I think a lot of frauds are being exposed in this election. Frauds as in “I’m in it for me and no one else.” For some reason some people can never get enough money. In that respect Rush is no different from the Clintons.
