A leading Supreme Court analyst thinks Attorney General Loretta Lynch is the "most likely candidate" to replace the late conservative Justice Antonin Scalia. Tom Goldstein, who runs the influential SCOTUSblog, had earlier predicted Ninth Circuit Judge Paul Watford would make the top of President Obama's shortlist. But in a revised blog post, Goldstein said he now believes Lynch is the leading contender.

All I see locally is Kamela Harris’s puss on the front pages of the SF Carbunckle and Murky Nooz..

Just who illegal gangbangers and gangs nationwide would love to see on the bench.

God help us all. The SCotUS don’t give a rats arse about the rule of law anymore.

My tiny flicker of a hope that they will show some spine is based soley on the fact that their donors don’t want Citizens United to be overturned.

Of course they're going to play the race card to get the vote out in 2016 ...

As a famous philosopher once said (and still does, btw), "Exactly Right". This is not about SCOTUS, not even about Lynch.

It's all about GOTV.

I see no difference between them.

She’s a communist to the core. Just like he is.

Only difference is that she would be more open about using the US military to push her leftist agenda.

Because, you know, that would make her look as tough as a man and all that.

1) Lynch doesn’t indict Hillary
2) Hillary becomes president
3) Hillary nominates Lynch
4) ??? (republican senate caves)

Hillary and Lynch will no doubt have a conversation about the first step. Not sure how step 4 happens. Maybe as simple as someone telling McConnell he’s racist and republicans will never win another election if they are seen as racist if he doesn’t confirm.

Radio is on and I hear people talking about obams and the SC replacement. God help us... are there that many absolutely stricken dumb people walking around out there but important enough to get on the air... they are either lying in their boots, or are so ignorant they have no right to comment..

This is simple.. and the only one who talks simple any more.. is Trump. We don’t make deals with stupidity. the answer is NO. NO, obama is not going to select the replacement. NOT THIS TIME around!

Will not be a recess nominee. Will nominate for up or down vote. Rinos will confirm.

It doesn’t matter who Obama nominates.

They will be the 5th liberal vote for whatever the left wants regardless.

We must say no to ANY one Obama puts forward, and hope we win the presidency and that the winner nominates a conservative, which is honestly iffy at best.

Possible, but I don’t think so. Here’s why:

If Obama nominates Lynch, McConnell simply counters by saying, “her nomination won’t even get to the committee until she appoints a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton’s conduct while Secretary of State and possible bribery and racketeering in conjunction with her charitable foundation.”

Because of that, I don’t think Lynch will be put forward by Obama. Now of course, McConnell can just wimp out - always a possibility.

Of course they’re going to play the race card to get the vote out in 2016 ...

She's black and female.

All she has to do is add a claim that she has lesbian desires or is a transgender and she will be a national hero.

If anyone I can almost guarantee Lynch is the top candidate Obama would pick. Why? Let me give you a clue...

Better Obama nominates a pathetic affirmative-action hack like Lynch than some “respectable,” “highly-qualified” baby-killer like Ginsburg. The RINOs in the Senate will be looking for an excuse to cave.

Well I certainly do. I see real differences between any two people and any two politicians. One just has to look to see differences.

“”She’s black and female. All she has to do is add a claim that she has lesbian desires or is a transgender and she will be a national hero.””

Let’s have some straight talk here, folks..no more pandering - from a cabinet member chosen by Ronald Reagan:

“”A controversy erupted after a speech to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in September 1983, when Watt mocked affirmative action by making the following statement about a coal leasing panel: “I have a black, a woman, two Jews and a cripple. And we have talent.”[21] Watt resigned within weeks of making this statement.[21][22] In 2008, Time magazine named Watt among the ten worst cabinet members in modern history.[23””
