Possible, but I don’t think so. Here’s why:

If Obama nominates Lynch, McConnell simply counters by saying, “her nomination won’t even get to the committee until she appoints a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton’s conduct while Secretary of State and possible bribery and racketeering in conjunction with her charitable foundation.”

Because of that, I don’t think Lynch will be put forward by Obama. Now of course, McConnell can just wimp out - always a possibility.

If Obama nominates Lynch, then the FBI will decide the election. Rationale: Lynch will not be confirmed by the Senate prior to the election.

If she fails to indict Clinton, Lynch will never be confirmed and likely Clinton will never win election.

If she indicts Clinton, Hillary will lose the election and the Republican candidate, as President, will appoint the Scalia successor, will probably pardon Clinton, but she will go to prison for her Clinton Foundation corruption. Perhaps she will be imprisoned with the FIFA President.
