Crus for the court is perfect! The right Ivy pedigree, Hispanic enough, gets rid of him in the Senate (which hates him), gets rid of him in the Presidential race, and gives him a lifetime job and bully pulpit. Go Cruz Go..for SCOTUS! And think how much like Grandpa Munster he would look in his long black robe!

I think Cruz would be the best by far, with one possible exception. Cruz is my first choice for president, but I’d have mixed feelings on that if Trump announced that his first Supreme Court nomination would go to Ted Cruz. Cruz would be a great intellectual originalist Justice, a worthy replacement for Scalia.

Sure, he’ll uphold a strict interpretation of our Constitution. No conflict of interest there.
This is a game changer for me. There is no longer any doubt in my mind who I’ll be supporting and it’s Ted Cruz.
My heart always said Ted.; I’m just so sick of politicians that I WAS leaning Trump...no longer, if the Republic is to survive.

I would like to see Judge Andrew Napolitano as the next appointee to the Supreme Court but I doubt Obama will nominate him.
IMO, Cruz is the strongest candidate of both parties to pick the next SCOTUS justice and better at it than the current POTUS and VP.

Ted Cruz would actually make a pretty good Supreme Court Justice himself.
More likely they would like to see Cruz on the Supreme Court.
Problem is it’s a moot point because Ted isn’t going to be President, but Trump is!
Now I’d be for President Trump appointing Ted Cruz to the SCOTUS. The only problem with that is that with his “standing” in the Senate, they might not confirm him.
This is one of those polls written for the sake of taking up space.
It really doesn’t matter who the “people” want...Obama is the one who decides. The Senate says yes or no.
