A Queens man was busted with a stockpile of guns, ammunition and bullet proof vests inside his one-bedroom apartment, authorities said Wednesday.
Guo Shou, 33, of Rego Park, had 225 pounds of gunpowder, tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition, bullet-making equipment, assault rifles and several bullet proof vests, according to Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
The arsenal was discovered when officers conducted an administrative pistol licensee review at Shou's home Monday. The officers spotted the gunpowder and some of the ammunition lying in plain sight.]

I’m even more disturbed regarding the “warranting” of search based on the SUBJECTIVE consideration of the “officer” who made the initial review.
-Merely owning guns now is considered “1st degree reckless endangerment”???-
Apparently in ny it is. Wondering if they’re making an example of this guy. Commies like to do that ya know.
I’ve lost more in a boating accident than this guy.
Probably for the 225 pounds of gunpowder.
Pretty sure that’s about average for our neighborhood....
I was pheasant hunting in Western North Dakota, once, and saw some birds in a guy’s tree row. I stopped by the farm house to inquire about whether he would allow me to hunt the trees. He invited me in. Seeing as it was nowheresville NoDak, he probably just wanted some company for a bit. No problem.
I stepped inside, and literally every surface except the floor and ceiling were covered in guns. Every wall. Every counter. The desk. The bathroom. Everywhere. Thousands upon thousands of guns.
He started giving me a tour of his collection. Handed me an old six shooter from the 1800s.
Now in my training, one always clears the gun, demonstrates that it is empty, and then you hand it to the next guy. He didn’t do that. So I asked,
“Is it loaded?”
“Of course it’s loaded. They’re all loaded. What use is a gun unless it’s loaded?”
Here in Nebraska, everyone makes their own cartridges all the time. Open any Cabella’s catalog and you’ll discover all manner of reloading equipment.
All charges will eventually be dropped, but they will confiscate and keep/destroy his “huge stockpile.” IRC, in some of the free states, that “huge stockpile” is just a good start.
The best thing about my Arizona : )
Why would anyone sane live in NYC?
New York doesn't recognize the Constitution. How can they still be part of the United States?
Words to live by. If I have to club somebody with my .45 it will be because I've missed him eight times.
When you have that many guns, might as well have them all loaded, eliminates the delay searching for the ONE, their all shooters.
I carry more than that when I go out to check the mail.
LOL
Good tagline
Yep, and they get all huffy when they find out the rest of us despise the place.
That’s not yuge.
I think you meant financial assets. I don’t think fiduciary means what you think it means.
