Thursday, February 11, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Baton Rouge, LA at the Baton Rouge River Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM CST.
As the "Capital City", Baton Rouge is the political hub for Louisiana, and is the second-largest metropolitan city in the state, with an estimated population of 228,895 as of 2014. The metropolitan area surrounding the city, known as Greater Baton Rouge, had a population of 820,159 people as of 2013.The urban area has around 594,309 inhabitants.
HOW DID BATON ROUGE GET ITS NAME?
The French name le baton rouge ("the red stick") is the translation of a native term rendered as Istrouma, possibly a corruption of the Choctaw iti humma ("red pole") Andre Joseph Penicaut, a carpenter traveling with d'Iberville, published the first full-length account of the expedition in 1723. According to Penicaut,
"From there [Manchacq] we went five leagues higher and found very high banks called ecorts in that region, and in savage called Istrouma which means red stick [baton rouge], as at this place there is a post painted red that the savages have sunk there to mark the land line between the two nations, namely: the land of the Bayagoulas which they were leaving and the land of another nation—thirty leagues upstream from the baton rouge named the Oumas."

I think it was yesterday that I posted about this. It seems that lawyers like Cruz, Rubio, etc., do well in their careers. But let’s face it, trying a case in court is basically scripted. You know the questions you’ll be asking. You’ll know what the answers will be. (”Never ask a question you don’t know the answer to.”) Then you’ll ask another question based on that answer, and so forth. They have weeks to prepare the script. All that needs to be added are some theatrics and gestures in the right places. Big win.
But when it comes to impromptu situations like the style of current “debates”, and Q & A meetings, they can’t cut it. Can’t think on their feet. They choke.

Trump said during an interview at the ‘88 GOP convention that he relates best with the cab drivers and blue collar workers. I believe him. He’s a “blue-collar kind of guyâ€.

And I have had enough of his sanctimony. We've had seven years of Obama talking down to us and lecturing us from on high. I do not want to listen to another President with the same approach.
Plus, Trump has turned these debates into an unscripted free for all and they are not prepared. They spend hours working on their focus group tested responses like Rubio and then Christi hits him with a haymaker exposing their phoniness.
Trump just says what is on his mind and nobody else on the stage has that ability. He is going to win big in spite of the world being against him.

I went to CEO office and gave him verbal hell. They gave me check within 2 min and later I complained about them to Immigration, City Hall, Labor Dept. etc.”

You can’t distinguish between a liberal approach and a conservative one?
Hopefully the personality of your candidate makes up for him moving the country down an Obama-like path of NSA surveillance, opening relations with Cuba, covering everyone with free health insurance, etc. Life will suck, but at least the president has a cool personality.
