Liberal comic Bill Maher is a Bernie Sanders supporter, though he could live with a Hillary Clinton presidency, too.

They won’t say it because they won’t say anything that’s on the side of traditional western values.
I think many democrats get it ... but refuse to publicly acknowledge it because their dogma of political correctness trumps their fears about islam. I also think many dems find homosexuality personally disgusting yet bow to political correctness. Many dems personally manage their household finances like conservatives yet vote for liberal dems out of some sense they are supposed to do it. I think what many dems do in private is at odds with their public affiliation with liberal dems. They are hypocrites.
Dems could also lose by running a socialist and a felon.
I think that’s because Maher is an actual liberal, and not just a brainwashed leftist.
Yes, but even then, Maher still had to claim "Donald Trump is not right" for calling for temporary immigration ban from Islamic countries.
They’d just as soon utter the phrase “Liberal Fascism”.

They are acting hypocriticallly, yes. But it’s a good sign nevertheless. It signals that a good articulate candidate with those good values might be able to connect with a lot of democrats ( yes, in the Reagan tradition)
The Dems have no trouble ignoring reality. If they ever recognized it, they wouldn’t be Democrats.

Mahr was raised a Catholic, so I think that’s why he gets it.
He was taught to recognize evil, and accept it for what it is.
Most of his communist buds see all religion as a problem. But give Islam a pass. He sees the difference.
He thinks all religions are evil.

That is just a hook trying to keep an audience. He’s a radical.
Reverse propaganda. He says what some are afraid of so may not vote for Clinton and the dems but says it’s not anything to stop him from voting Democrat. Therefore others can think well he recognizes that they are wrong about this but he is still going to vote for them so I guess I can too.
