Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders are the winners in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, Fox News projects, helping reset the race after both candidates placed second in last week’s Iowa caucuses.
The projection is based on Fox News exit polls and early voting returns.

I am very worried tonight for the Cruz supporters here on Free Republic. Someone should set up some type of support hotthread where they can band together. I read so many posts from Cruzers who were certain that Trump would under-perform tonight and that Ted would somehow win. Tonight it is like they ran head first into a brick wall. These are not people who are known to be gracious losers. So lets all try to keep this in mind as they strike out with vitriol that will no doubt be vicious. Just try to be supportive and try to respond in ways that will calm them.
After listening to Hillary and Bernie, you’d never know that Obama has been in office for seven years and that many of those billionaires they’re raging against are major Democrat supporters.
Sanders has quite the scam going on - he’s raging against the billionaires and the banks and the corporations, but most of their money will go to him or whoever the Dem nominee is.

Jimmy Cricket, Bernie is yapping so much and for so long, this is really getting boring to anyone watching. I mean, he just slammed Hillary into the corner, but now he comes out and proceeds to destroy his campaign with the most long breathed and boring speech imaginable. I mean, when you win a state primary, you come out, and say thank you and act excited and shout on to the next state and stuff, and be done with it. No American wants to listen to an extended speech like this. He is going to lose the next state, this is so boring and so long it is a disaster. How can he not realize this?
I have had to mute Sanders, the long winded communist while waiting for Trump to speak. What a maroon.
Listening to Hillary and Sanders, it’s almost like they’re running against Obama! Obama bailed out the banks and GM and never prosecuted anyone involved in the 2007 meltdown. Most of the new billionaires are solid Dem supporters, and if Cruz is the nominee, they’ll blast him for OPPOSING the bailouts!

As I have said, I like Cruz, but I want to see the USA led by someone of Trump’s abilities. I am sure that Trump has figured out a place for Cruz. (I like Cruz for the Court).
I’m not sure but I think you may be partially joking. And I was very put off by Carsongate. But on the other hand, if I weren’t supporting Trump, I would be supporting Cruz. If I could have someone who believed exactly like I do in there, it would be Cruz. But I just think Trump will be so much more effective at getting elected and also at being president. And frankly, we need Cruz in the Senate.
