Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders have cruised to victories in the New Hampshire primary, CNN projects, in results that will rock the establishments of both parties and confirm the strength of outsider candidates in a wild presidential race.
Trump's victory restores the mantle of a winner to the billionaire reality star's campaign after he finished second last week in Iowa and validates him as a powerful new force in American politics.
Sanders, meanwhile, delivered a painful blow to Democratic rival Hillary Clinton after she edged out the slimmest of victories in Iowa.

YES!! AGREE
My bad. I accidentally invented that saying. (Tagline)
I support Trump but he needs to put more emphasis on person to person and less on rallies. Family in SC tell me Cruz has a strong, trained group on the ground there. I hope Trump moves on this.
I’m not saying he has one, frankly he doesn’t need one.
When you can get 5-10,000 people to show up in places like Arkansas, Louisiana, South Carolina and 18,000 in Dallas who needs a ground game?
Every other candidate is going to need canvasers, yard signs, bumper stickers etc. to show traction and get results, none of them have the resources to do it after Nevada.
Trump has braggadociously has stated how little money he has spent. Bush spent $2,800 per vote in Iowa.
Cable news can’t go 60 minutes without a Trump story, his personal appearances generate local headlines, A block news stories and full day radio news reports. They sell out, run out of tickets/allocations inside 5 hours. It’s completely unreal.
No amount of money or traditional political campaigning, no matter how skillfully executed and articulated, is going to stand in Trump’s way. The SEC primary was designed to get the GOP nomination locked up, solidify the candidate and allow a unified (And early.) convention to move back the date of matching federal election funds.
It’s over, the political class knows it. The talking heads know it. The candidates know it. The only argument now is by how much and how can they keep the population engaged for the sake of ratings, relevance and political futures.
Have to laugh....Jeb @ 12%, and CNN is talking like he won!
So Republican voters will elect a liberal Democrat just like that and conservcatism and moderates die just like that, and the U.S. becomes a center-left country?
So damn glad Bernie beat Hillary! Make that witch WORK for EVERY delegate.
Me-gyn Kelly almost can’t contain herself as you can see she is burning that Trump won by SUCH a yuge margin.
So far we’ve heard Cruz would do well in the South but really, who trusts any polling this far out?
I hope those exit polls are right. Shows Cruz in 2nd.
Congrats to all the Trump supporters.
I suppose it depends on how far south you go.
Hillary, and here is my impression of Monica Lewinsky at Bill’s White House Pizza Party.
Notice that she is wearing Blue in that picture.
Tijuana?
Becomes? This country has been center-left for a while. Heck they elected a closet socialist twice and now appear to be choosing between an avowed socialist and a casino / strip club operator.
Is anybody surprised a lib won NH? And Bernie, too.
“So Republican voters will elect a liberal Democrat just like that and conservcatism and moderates die just like that, and the U.S. becomes a center-left country? “
No, they’ll elect someone that is conservative on some important issues and who has, over time become more conservative.
Mr Trump is not a perfect candidate but he is better than the alternatives.
You are correct that with Trump you have worry that he’ll do what he campaigns on. But with the other you have to hope they won’t fulfill their promises.
I want Yeb to have single digits!
Actually, its his rallies. IMO. Hold a good rally and the rest falls into place.
In the general, he will need a LOT of people on the ground and hold a lot more rallies.
Yup. NH is NOT even close to being a Red State.
