Here's a LIVE THREAD for the NH Primary results this evening.
We will know soon enough and we can keep track it right here.
How quick will they call it? I expect between 7:30 and 8 PM the race will be called in NH tonight.
I think the debate may have influenced those last minute deciders. I changed my opinions about Rubio and Cruz after the debate myself. Also the talk about Iowa.
21 district delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the primary results in each of the state's 7 congressional districts: each congressional district is assigned 3 National Convention delegates and the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in that district will receive all 3 of that district's National Convention delegates. [Rule 11(b)(4)]
26 (10 base at-large delegates plus 16 bonus delegates) at-large delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide. [Rule 11(b)(5)]
3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the South Carolina's Republican Party are pledged to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide.
Exit polls: 21% of late deciders each to Trump and Kasich 13% each to Bush and Rubio, remainder split with Christie, Cruz, other.
Then imagine what Cruz’s 8% will be...
“There will be an attempted fix and it will involve Jeb.”
I had on FNC in the background most of the day. One female reporter mentioned the possibility of a brokered convention. First thought that popped into my head: “JEB!” Please, God... no!
Per Twitter: “At Merrimack, biggest polling station in NH, word on everyone’s lips is Trump.”
“I just guzzled a bottle of hard cider.
and going to do it again!”
The night is young. Don’t hurt yourself!
What? Only Cruz supporters are allowed to crow?
Wow V, can you believe the gall of some people? Crowing only allowed if Cruz wins.
â I expect that certain, predictable, Trump supporters will be in here crowing and being the rabid, dog-piling, poor-winners FR has come to expect. â
Because after Iowa, Cruz people were doing what again?
For people trying to come off as so much more smarter than everyone else, some of you seriously have no memories past 2 days ago.
No doubt that Yeb! has tossed more unwanted junk mail at them as he blows his huge wad of campaign cash.
“part of me says that Trump and Cruz still may be running a rope a dope on the press”
Fascinating. I always thought the break in January was pre-planned and agreed by both. I thought their agreement was essentially:
We’ll watch each others’ back until Iowa, then when we’re the only guys left standing, we’ll take our case to the voters.
But you’re suggesting they are still playing .... playing for the total delegate count they can walk into the convention with more than 50% in total. Brilliant. If that’s the game, let’s play!
Faux adversaries keep the interest high, the votes attracted to conservatism and populism separately, then combine at the end. Wow. Sounds like Cruz’s brain and Trump’s ego combined.
Exit poll: only 23% of NH primary voters evangelicals vs 62% in IA
So Trump could get extra delegates from Canuck Ted if âCTâ doesnât reach that 10% threshold.
Now wouldn’t THAT be something?!
I hope he does do better than expected. A second place for Cruz in NH would be a huge win for him.
Also said Trump voters decided long ago, not mushy minded voters!!! Trump at 29% Kashich at 19%!!!!
It could be 90% of those voters may have been leaning 90% toward one candidate or another, but didn’t “make their minds” until today.
Yes, the more the better. People are finally starting to get it - that our country is in dire straits and we have a chance, just a chance, to fix it on November 8, 2016.
Exit polls: Trump 29% among indies, Kasich 18, Bush 14, Cruz 13.
Thank God above.
