"Every once in a while you can have a little fun, don't you think?" the GOP presidential candidate says on Fox News
Donald Trump says his decision to repeat a supporter's claim at a recent rally that Ted Cruz is "a pussy" was all in good fun...

Yes, I knew about his plan to possibly eliminate the IRS but Cruz has submitted a ‘flat tax’ on income of 10%, not 0%. It might not be the ‘IRS’ collecting it but another alphabet agency not named ‘IRS’. Cruz has also proposed a silent tax, a VAT of 16% on business which will obviously be passed on to consumers, employees, shareholders, business owners, everyone. I would go for either a ‘flat tax’ or a VAT but not both together.
I’m sure there will be many more posts beyond that. His gutter-level quest for attention any way he can get it is literally the talk of the Internet.
Hmmm...could you elaborate please?
I didn’t hear this level of incredulity when Col. Ralph Peters called Obama a “pussy” on the FOXe evening news. He wasn’t “repeating”, he said it intentionally. He’s already been back on FOXe.
I guess, to the left, it’s WHO says it.
And he didn’t even bring it up. A woman (who might be able to pin Cruz in arm wrestling) dropped this little bomb in Cruz’s lap.
As we have pretty much determined here, Trump is no stranger to controversy or poosey ... so what’s he supposed to do? Blush?
Could I get a list of what you are willing to accept in a strong man leader? You appear to be very accommodating.
If you think that I’m simply put off because I have a gentle disposition, think again.
Trump’s vulgarity isn’t a standalone issue, it fits with a narcissistic personality that has no apparent empathy or loyalty. I cannot for the life of me imagine why you think that Trump is being honest with you about anything.
That you readily make a list of what Trump is going to provide you in exchange for you blind allegiance is amazing, as there is zero reason to believe that he will pursue, let alone accomplish any of them.
People are standing with robot dress and anti-rubio statement around polling stations in NH.
He just exudes âpresidentialâ.
Yes, vulgarian, one of the qualities I most look for in a President, right there with pandering narcissist.
Ok, ty for the info, I think :)
Cruz’ answer wasn’t wishy-washy, it makes a distinction over who makes the call and when. Not having the electric chair for burglary doesn’t make you anti capital pinishment, either.
No need, between Donald Trump’s race to the gutter, and his supporters defense of it, there is only need to post the thread... you guys will do the rest.
Sad really that these so-called "conservatives" are so easily fooled by someone who has done nothing more than talk a good conservative game while producing nothing.
Who constantly votes to put more Americans out of work by increasing H1B visas in support of those who clamor for more cheap labor.
Someone who has shown he is willing to do anything in his quest for power, including being deceitful. Not my kind of Christian for sure.
Give me Trump or let me die!!!! My new battle cry.
I’ve read our history and am well aware that many of our presidents cursed, swore, cussed, and took the Lord’s name in vain. The did it hypocritically. Not Trump. He’s ready to do away with this hypocrisy. But as the saying goes, hypocrisy is the homage vice pays to virtue. With Trump now, there will be no homage. Just as children will learn of Bill Clinton’s fondness for fellatio in the Oval Office, we can look forward to them learning of his pal, the thrice-married bragging adulterer, Trump who uses words like “pussy” and “f*ck” in his campaign speeches. Yes, if you’re a Trumpsters who blindly follows him, if you’re fond of the épater le bourgeois that says all civility is PC claptrap, then Trump has done it again. You can be proud of him. He’s shown he’s a real man, like his time spent in a military academy, which he brags about. But at the end of the day Bill Clinton’s pal, Trump, is a braggart and a phony with out the respect for the norms we normally associate with the US Presidency.
And the VAT?
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Vulgarian : "an unrefined person, especially one with newly acquired power or wealth."
I don’t personally speak in the way referenced, but I am surrounded by it and I think in our current culture, people hear it all day.
It also is a definite contrast to the very well-behaved, neutered, RINO-cultured behavior of other candidates.
Sometimes they work so hard to never offend anyone, they end up being a big bowl of milk-toast and appealing to no one.
Somewhere in there is the right balance.
For why I believe that we should all support both Trump & Cruz, at this point--although in New Hampshire today, Conservatives must make a choice--see Trump & Cruz.
Only someone taking the comments out of the actual context will see this as an attack on anyone's masculinity. (And, indeed, the actual comment is basically more figurative elbow in the ribs banter, in common parlance, than near mortal insult, today. It does not remotely compare to the vulgarity one sees in television commercials every day of the year--not remotely.)
“Trumpophiles don’t care.....In their mind the man simply can say or do no wrong.” I think it is beyond that. It is the culture at large. Even PG movies use language like that and worse regularly. HBO, Showtime, etc.
“He was the only one with balls on that stage.”
Until Megyn Kelly asks him “a tough question”...then he cries like a little girl.
So you are a fan of Rosie O’Donnell now? Were you offended by Donald calling her a pig?
