Pop star Beyonce turned one of Americaâs greatest annual sporting events into a political propaganda statement with a halftime show honoring the controversial Black Lives Matter movement.
As she belted out her new song âFormation,â a celebrated anthem for black pride, dancers performed in wardrobe similar to members of the Black Panthers.
The first thing I noticed when she came on was that she was losing her looks, so guess this is her new shtick to stay in the spotlight.
Why they let these RACISTS perform is beyond me.
Colplay was “ok”. Bruno brought life and fun and was terrific as always; then Beyonce’ sucked all the life out of the show.
Yup. Super owls have become watch the game & commericials and use the halftime as bathroom break and re-load the snack plate and beer glass.
Enjoyed the game. Turned out the way I wanted. The commercials, for the most part, were outstanding. But I took a break during halftime. Not interested in trashy “entertainment”.
I took the time to clean my fishtank and came back into the room right when Denver kicked it back off.
Just when you thought that nothing on this Earth could make you yearn for the return of Up With People...
“Wonder what ordinary Americans can do??”
I used to watch NFL. No more. Instead of watching the Super Bowl I cleaned puppy poop off my patio and got the pups’ shelter ready for a cold FL night using an electric blanket.
I get enough melodrama without piping it into my house.
The Wall Street DOW JONES index is suggesting today, this a.m, 305 pintws down that they didn;t like the BEYONCE vulgar presentation.
Trashy thugness will come out, no matter how much money they have or bling they wear. She married am ugly, trashy ‘rapper’ and will no doubt end up as Whitney Houston did. Altho Houston at least started out good and found her low level of comfort with her thug. The streets are full of un-famous skanks like Beyoncé. Watch Maury and Jerry Springer.
stupid white people
“The whole halftime show was a sad, sad, commentary on American popular culture. That garbage is what the producers considered the best show business had to offer for the audience they expected to be watching. Just sad.”
Agreed! It is sad what we have become as a nation. We can put some speed bumps in electing a conservative, but in the long run, the culture is simply rotten. The re-election of a horrible marxist president just sealed my opinion on it.
Those thighs were damn strong. She almost fell down on stage when he knelt down and tried to pop back up.
“...Lady Gaga respectful and beautifully sung...”
Lady Gaga possesses actual talent and has a professionally trained voice. I believe that she is a graduate of the elite and difficult to get into NYU Tisch school of the arts where she would have received the best (arguably) training available, other than maybe Juilliard.
Although I am not a fan of her lifestyle, left leanings, etc., I am willing to concede that she has true talent. Bruno Mars has real talent as well, - the others that were up there; not so much at all - To cover their lack of real talent they use auto pitch machines, sing within a very few note range and use other hypes and gimmicks to hide their poor natural abilities.
Beyonce does not have the same body she did back in 2003.
None of us do.
She is an amazing singer, a hell of a lot better than anyone today. The impression I get from her is she does or did all that crazy stuff and crazy music before just to get attention and get a career as it’s so incredibly difficult today to make it in music, and now that she has a name for herself she is showing who she really is which a hell of a jazz singer. I saw the concert with her and Tony Bennett at Radio city and it just utterly blew me away. Nobody even touches her today when it comes to singing. She doesn’t go into this vocal gymnastic crap, she is a REAL singer .

Glad I had closed captioning during half time. Even with it, I did not understand Beyoncé’s song.
I’m glad that I missed it. My husband watched it, and he said it was horrible.
Agreed! I was annoyed when I saw she'd be singing the Anthem. It took maybe 6 notes to turn me around. I was impressed. And not just with the voice, which was terrific. It was her demeanor. I believe every bit of that performance was heartfelt.
