Pop star Beyonce turned one of Americaâs greatest annual sporting events into a political propaganda statement with a halftime show honoring the controversial Black Lives Matter movement.
As she belted out her new song âFormation,â a celebrated anthem for black pride, dancers performed in wardrobe similar to members of the Black Panthers.

It is a great irony that ‘the black team’ of hissy fit Newton lost to a team which makes no political foolishness over race. Von Miller was outstanding ... as a team player!

Colplay was "ok". Coldplay's performance validated all the 4K UHD TVs that everyone bought for Christmas last year.

Really want to screw around with the left? Say Lady Gaga’s performance was better than Whitney’s. They will go apoplectic.

I don’t get why the NFL has turned itself into a racist whore house, especially when they are under attack by the liberals they worship. I care less today what happens to the National whore house than I did yesterday because it is a bad influence upon the children and young people who watch the games.

I didn’t see Gaga till after the game where they replayed it. I was watching a show about air disasters on my iPhone and had the sound off on the tv until kickoff.
But I repeat she did a respectful job and her voice is beautiful.

“I don’t know about you but the sound was off. It was horrible, and maybe that was a blessing in disguise?”
The crowd noise was so bad I could barely hear the music let alone the lyrics.

Lady Gargle started off good, but then towards the end the national anthem morphed into an imitation of grossness.

We must have watched two different National Anthems. she did a very nice job with it, and at the end said: “God Bless America!”
I’m all for being critical when it’s called for, but ripping on Lady Gaga for her rendition of the National Anthem isn’t one of those times. If I missed something she did, please point it out to me, I’m not beyond being corrected if I’m wrong.

“The only part of that NFL half time show was okay was Bruno Mars, and that was okay. One could even say he saved the show from complete disaster.”
IMO, the absence of Mark Ronson ruined Uptown Funk.

"Define irony. When you look at an image of her routine, she's the whitest one there. All the dancers were darker than she was, and they all had dark hair."
Even if darker than her, most if not all were relatively light-skinned. There were few if any "black" women in the show.

"What the hell was the NFL thinking?"
The NFL is moving past people like us, and has been doing so for quite a few years.
This is most evident in the half-time shows, which have become virtual pagan rituals, with the throngs of airhead fans surrounding the stage waving their arms in fake ecstasy, to the scantily-clad performers gyrating to barely-intelligible lyrics, to the pyrotechnics and glitz. It's fodder for the millennial masses.

I'm no fan either, but she really does have a great voice.

I thought the sound was terrible during the Coldplay part of the performance. You could hardly hear the lead singer at all.

Even if darker than her, most if not all were relatively light-skinned. There were few if any "black" women in the show. I have interest in Ancestry.com and their commercials or finding one's roots. A man does a silly dance in leiderhosen and then finds he is Scottish. I would warrant that these ladies have over 40% European ancestry, some other mixes and about 40% black. Absolutely nothing wrong with that of course. The whiter they are the more they seem to blatantly claim blackness.
The hypocrisy of it all!

Yup, she could pass for Italian, or "light skinned" Hispanic (hmm, where oh where did I hear THAT description before /s)

I believe she also thanks the men and women in uniform that were on the field, at least with her hands to her heart if not with words as well.
I had no doubt she would do great, was only curious if she’d wear some strange outfit, which she did not.
