Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton just gave his critics all the ammunition they need.

Already under fire for how he conducts himself on the field, Newton went silent after his team's 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Super Bowl 50, sulking at the podium and essentially refusing to answer questions.

Actually Tom Brady loses gracefully. Then he works harder in order to win again.

Brady appears to be the opposite of Cam Newton.

I don't think he wants to explain why he couldn't be bothered diving for the fumble that sealed their fate and, instead, backed away from the ball -- and the 300 lb. linemen diving for it. (And whom he could have beaten to the ball if he'd really wanted to.)

What the heck is up with the hoodie? Is he trying to convey a subliminal message? He comes across as a very snotty political and racist nasty person.

He needs to grow up a little. Sullen and despondent but still condescending. That aside, he didn’t “storm out”. He just got up and walked away.

He didn’t storm out. He answered a few questions, they just kept asking the same question. He just walked away.

Why the hoody? #BlackQuaterBacksLivesMatter ? Racist POS with pouty lips can suck it. Compare him to Manning. Classy and professional. Even got a cpl of plugs in for Budweiser (Hope he made mad $ for that). That is a real man and not a man child. Newton is Barak with some strength. Same damned lack of class, but not a bean pole.

I agree with you...a snot. No wonder Obama was rooting for them. I also noticed him hiding under his hoodie. Maybe Obama will have him to the White House to console him.

Ditto.

Manning... class.

Newton... classless.

I hope he learns, but not holding my breath.

Special Ed maybe. Football isn’t magic. If those boobs wanted to do something impressive they would cure cancer or invent fuel out of pond scum. Gladiators in the coliseum is just more Roman “bread and circuses.”

“It wasn’t nothing special they did. We dropped balls, turned the ball over, gave up sacks, threw errant passes. They scored more points than we did.”

The epitome of sour grapes. Hey Cam, might it have been that Denver defense that caused your receivers to drop balls, forced several turnovers, sacked you six times, and forced you to throw many errant passes all game long? Just curious because nobody has ever seen you get manhandled like that.

I enjoyed the game. I was pulling for Carolina but deep down a big win for Peyton is good.

Honestly I think ESPN should be eating more crow than anybody.

To be fair, right after a huge emotional let-down may not be the best time for a press conference, for anybody.

To be fair and honest, their called PROFESSIONAL football players for a reason. He is the MVP of the league and the face of the NFL, and contractually required to speak with press. And evidently still just another talented over payed thug.

I have watched Brady, Wilson, Manning & many others give press conferences after losing superbowls without getting mad and walking out.

This is all being swept under the rug soon by the media because right as Newton walked out Bill Romanowski called him a boy on Twitter.
