Saturday night at the GOP debate in New Hampshire belonged to the executives: the governors and the businessman.
Indeed, if Saturday is any indication of what kind of debater Donald Trump can be, then it's safe to say that it really was a mistake for him to skip the Fox News debate before the Iowa caucus. He may very have won it if he had shown this kind of strength and adeptness just days before Iowans went out to vote.

That was Trump’s best moment! When he told the GOP elites hand picked audience on their face why they were booing. Because they could not buy Trump off.
However, and important to remember.... the reason we are beginning to see a more "polished" Trump is Rep. Sessions staff are now on board with Trump and advising him as part of his team. They are now helping him "prepare".
I tuned in a few minutes before that engagement. It was plain as day the audience was stacked. Trump called them out — it was Huge!
I was looking at Cruz very differently as well. He says the right things, but he can’t inspire or connect as he is saying them. He rattles them off in a singsongy cadence, maybe that’s why some call him Preacher.
I always knew he couldn’t get liberal, independent, or even low info voters. But he kind of is losing me. I’m a conservative. I agree with his positions. Yet something is not resonating, and I was stunned at his defense of himself re Iowa. It went on so long and was so defensive as to be, once more, tone deaf.

I still watch Justice Janine, and whenever they have Trump interviews.

Is that Anthony Bourdain? That guy is colorful. Check out his first autobiographical book. The guy came from nothing and made his early life pretty rough, drugs, etc. It’s an easy read and so interesting. Quite a character. I started liking him on that show The Taste. I don’t know why that show is not on the air any more.
He’s 1/2 Tent Revivalist and 1/2 crooked/sneaky pol weasel.
And he has been copying what Trump says from the start of this, but lacks sincerity. Ted just mouths the words; Trump MEANS WHAT HE SAYS.
