“You know who has the tickets to the
television audience?” Trump said. “Donors,
special interests, the people that are putting
up the money. That's who it is. The RNC told
us. We have all donors in the audience. And
the reason they're not loving me—the reason
they're not—excuse me. The reason they're
not loving me is, I don't want their money.”
The audience didn’t take kindly to Trump’s
dismissal, booing him repeatedly during an
exchange with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush
Would you clarify the 25% offer. Was that offer made by Trump? I would appreciate a published source on that. Thanks.
and who booed him? Yup the donor class audience
It was an interesting audience- no one really seemed to get the whole audience clapping and cheering- each candidate seemed to at times get about 1/4 to 1/3 or so of the crowd cheering and clapping from the sound of it (of course that is a rough estimate) but bush seemed to get almost 1/2 and they clapped and cheered louder than the others
I think the hyperbole about Trump’s love affairs is rubbish.
Trump’s sexual exploits were discussed in his books. However, since I do not have the books, I cannot look at the context. I have no idea what time he was having those sexploits. He may have been young, single and rich. I imagine he was quite liberal. However, you grow up and, like Ronald Reagan, you see the light. Here are the passages from his books:
“If I told the real stories of my experiences with women, often seemingly very happily married and important women, this book would be a guaranteed best-seller,” Trump—”The Art of the Comeback.”
“Beautiful, famous, successful, married - I’ve had them all, secretly, the world’s biggest names.” Trump—”Think Big and Kick Ass”
I imagine The Donald will have lots to say about Bush’s bad move of stacking he audience with his supporters. It was pathetic.

You're just overly biased. This was another nothing burger debate.
Who, other than Trump, would have the brass to call out the stacking of the audience by the RNC?
Also, Ted's answer on carpet bombing was awful.
Leni
Ted’s on fire... well his campaign is going down in flames, to be accurate.
You keep thinking that Trump is such a great guy.....I think you are going to be sorely disappointed.
He’s already lost a lot of support and after tonight’s revelation that he doesn’t know what he is talking about, he is going to lose even more.
The original 1 million was offered by Bob Guccione in the 70’s. Later Trump bought the land around her during or around 1993.
He made offers. I haven’t seen official numbers, but one of his sons claimed he offered 1.9 million. He later claimed he would have gone “up to” 5 million, but there is no evidence he offered that amount.
Evidently he saw a better way to make the deal by going through the Atlantic City Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. They offered 251K for the property (clearly not a market assessed amount) in order to acquire the property for Trump.
Articles are around with the number:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vera_Coking
the firm that represented her has a long article somewhere that I think I posted earlier.
The 25% is my calculation based on the eminent domain assessment being 25% of the earlier, documented offer amount.
>> Sixty percent of Americans donât like the guy
50% are Democrats. That leaves 80% of Republicans liking him. No?
that was Trump’s
“I’m paying for this microphone Mr. Green!” moment and you didn’t even realize it.. Everything after that was just for the wannabees
other than Rubio having his total meltdown Saturday night this Trump exchange is what the television audience will not forget.. When he came out and looked at the television audience and said this is what I’m fighting against he won the debate and maybe the nomination..
Reagan won the nomination the night of the Mr. Green comment in NH.. it was all over after that.. it was a 40 point swing in NH and he never looked back
I could care less what your situation was. You obviously know nothing about Trump and Coking.
That was a bold and great statement. The vast TV audience had to be told. Trump is no dummy, that is for sure.
So when did Darth Trump seize the house, throw the little old lady out and raise it to the ground? I hate Zombies.
Most of the PMSNBC post-debate panel agreed Trump won the debate. I almost fell off my chair!
On the other hand, the Commie News Network (aka CNN) declared him a loser and banged him all night.
Of course, CNN would have declared him a loser if he had rendered all other candidates completely speechless during the entire course of the evening's debate.
Leni
He didn’t get the house, but he made her life miserable with a protracted court case and the hell of having her property taken from her at an unreasonably low price.
However, the price isn’t the issue (although the actual price offered her puts the lie to his statement in the debate), we shouldn’t have government cronies taking property from people in order to turn it into a limo parking lot.
I think it was the typical dirty tactics you get from the professional politician class. For them it is all about lining their pockets with your campaign contributions. The longer they stay in the race the bigger the haul they will get. I am glad The Donald called them on it. The American people should trump Bush into the ground.
I noticed Rubio, Kasich and Cruz getting good audience response. I suspect they also got the jump on the tickets too.
I also suspect that Bush seemed to be quite prepared for some of the questions. His answers seemed memorized. I wonder if he even got advance copies of the questions?
What you say is patently false. I know the case quite well and there is a lot of old factual information on the casae available on the internet that has existed before Trump was ever a candidate.
I have posted the facts and links before, and other FR posters have corroborated them.
He offered the property owner 100% more than any other offer (2 million). After she won her eminent lawsuit against other developers (not Trump), she refused to sell. When she passed away her family put her home on the market for 1 million but received no offers. They eventually sold for much less. It had nothing to do with Trump who was no longer involved in any of the developments in that area.
