AIR CUSHION

A landing craft air cushion arrives at Kawaihae Harbor, Hawaii, July 17, 2014, during Rim of the Pacific 2014. Twenty-two nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in the world's largest international maritime exercise. The event provides training to help participants foster the cooperative relationships critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans.


AIRBORNE OVER ESTONIA

U.S. paratroopers conduct an airborne operation in Nurmsi, Estonia, July 8, 2014. About 600 paratroopers from the brigade are in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve to demonstrate commitment to NATO obligations and sustain interoperability with allied forces. The paratroopers are assigned to 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade.

Twenty-two nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, about 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC, the world’s largest international maritime exercise, in and around the Hawaiian Islands and southern California.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities.
A post and run morning.
Had to see what our heroes
have been up to before
moving on to the day's plan.
Please forgive me
if I miss your ping.


Spring hasn't sprung, yet
but we've had a nice taste of it.
Unfortunately, the winter temps
are making a come back.
BUT not in the teens/twenties,
so I'm okay with that.

Please stay and
keep the troops entertained
and the Canteen clean....cause
....if you don't...I'll tell Ma!
And you know how she gets.

Remember, the Canteen is

So, come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

Sorry to hear you’ve been sick but sounds like you’re on the mend - all to the good.

Doing the best I can some sick days some days not so bad.

We have not had large snow storms, it has been cold, no snow to bother travel.
