Tonight Rick Santorum will be on Greta Van Susternâs show on FoxNews. Donald Trump will also be on the show. Do the math.
If it happens, this is too bad. Iâve never been a Rick Santorum fan but Iâve always respected his passion for his beliefs. Hopefully, I am reading too much into the tea leaves here. But if he endorses Trump it will mean that he has effectively jettisoned the social conservatism that has been his raison dâêtre in order for whatever pottage Donald Trump provides.
Unfortunately for Santorum, I believe it is probably correct.
No. Never happen.
We were speculating this would happen on the other thread.
Good. I’m guessing that when Carson does drop out, he won’t be endorsing Cruz or Rubio for lying about him and stealing his votes.
I hope that this rumor is incorrect.

Me too ... there sure is a lot of pimping to curry favor for possible VP selection. Folks jettisoning their values left and right.

He endorsed Specter and all the other liberals.
They are both from the northeast and Cruz is from Texas. Yankee love.
But he would endorse Trump for lying about him?
Hmm...I guess a cabinet position offer talks!
Why would Santorum endorse a man who uses dirty tricks to win,
while at the same time claims to be a Christian?
I’ve stopped reading RedState because of their Trump bashing.
Talk about jumping the shark.
I have actually always found Santorum to be extremely creepy, so this would not surprise me at all.
Right, so he did not endorse Cruz or Rubio because of that.
Red State does nothing but bash Trump with lies, about 20 times a day.
Trump is not as firmly based as Rick Santorum, but there is no reason not to think that he will be a social conservative if he is elected.
He resembles Ronald Reagan. There was some question about Reagan’s social conservatism as well. But he chose some great advisers, and passed the test with flying colors.
With Santorum on his side, and Sarah Palin to advise him, I think we can take all this stuff about Trump being a liberal with a grain of salt. Especially since it comes from the liberals in the media and in this forum.
