Disgusting. The Cruz camp is slandering Donald Trump tonight at the GOP caucuses.
The Cruz precinct captain Tim Osborne smeared Trump tonight in Des Moines saying Trump was for abortion and amnesty just six months ago. Six months ago Donald Trump was already running for president. And heâs reading his talking points.
It looks like the Cruz folks will stop at nothing. Sad.

Talk in the Trump “war room”-—”You’re fired”!
Cruz and Trump kill each other off state after state.
Rubio becomes the ‘he can win’ guy - just like Romney.
Fox news last night had a commentator call Rubio “He’s John F. Kennedy to Hillary’s Richard Nixon.”
All scripted.
RUBIO was the big winner last night and knew it.
This is where having a ground game is important. Trmp will learn and correct for the future.
Trump needs the ground game.
I think he also needs to present a positive message of his vision for America. “Here’s where I want us to be in four years.”
He’s not giving the voters a ‘feel good’ reason to vote for him.
“Cruz and Trump kill each other off state after state.” I think Trump will change his target to Rubio after last night. His ego wouldn’t be able to handle coming in 3rd. And I strongly doubt he’ll have a chance in SC. It’s do or cry now in NH
He was in the beginning but then he went for Cruz and it got ugly.
He needs to get back on message. I do think he's smart enough to see the mistakes/problems from Iowa and correct them.
I'm not sure he recognized just how important the ground game was. Your have to not only show up, they have to counter the others at the caucus.
I've been up against Code Pink and illegals marching in the streets of San Diego screaming in my face......I'll bet I could handle a caucus :D
Trump did a great job with the speech last night.
He needs to get over himself a bit and say, “These issues are what’s important. Securing our border, sending illegals out, not letting in these unvetted refugees, helping American business compete with the world. Folks, it’s not about me, honestly, it’s about these issues. We are winning every time other candidates follow us. I don’t mind taking the heat, I don’t. But these issues are what we need to do to Make America Great Again!”
We know he does better when he goes back to what made him popular to begin with.
Cruz’s campaign manager was on with morning joe and his morning ho a few hours ago. He couldn’t answer either question about the mailer or lying about Carson,he’s toast just a matter of time.
If we are successful in getting the truth out about Cruz without he help of rush, beck or Levin; Trump can win.
“The Cruz precinct captain Tim Osborne smeared Trump tonight in Des Moines saying Trump was for abortion and amnesty just six months ago.”
Bad boy, Ted. Should’ve said “12 months ago.”
Bingo! You nailed it.
The Art of War has no ROE.
2nd Q: a campaign style does reflect that person’s view of battle.
3rd: Yes it would.
;)
If there are other problems, Cruz needs to find out who is sending the damaging messages (if they are in his camp at all) and clean house. This sort of thing is just what someone from the GOPe might pull as an operative, with the intent of taking down all the outsiders.
That's my takeaway.
I can hear THE WHO warming up off stage.
I didn’t think I was being ungracious. I’m just saying that honest people can more easily be lied to than dishonest people. The post was about Cruz’s people lying.
Far as I’m concerned Trump, a first time candidate with the rats and the GOPe against him, did an amazing job. This was Cruz’s territory with the religious right and he had practically already signed up the whole state to volunteer for him and yet he didn’t beat Trump by that much and there is only one delegate of difference. So yes, a win would have been amazing but in perspective so was 2nd.
Thank you for helping me make my point.
And here is what the Cruz campaign said in reply to being accused of “dirty tricks” :http://therightscoop.com/ted-cruz-comm-director-addresses-mailer-and-allegations-by-carson/
It would only take a few votes in each precinct to turn the tied. Not necessarily giving a vote to Cruz but taking votes from Trump and Carson and spitting them between Cruz and Rubio. It affects all three.
I know if I was about to vote and was told my candidate was dropping out I’d vote my second choice to keep the others from winning.
