I would vote for Cruz. But there is a grand strategy on the part of the GOPe that the Cruzers arenât seeing out of their hatred for Trump, and as of tonight their strategy is playing out perfectly.Actually I do see it but thought Trump played it perfectly for them by first not showing up to the debate then bashing Cruz nonstop including the crazy birther crap. He hurt himself and Cruz and now Rubio is in play. He has given the GOPe and the media everything they have been trying for for a year now. All we will hear for the next week is Trumps loss and Rubio's rise no mention of Cruz.

"Trump isn’t ‘winner’ at the moment. He lost." McCain skipped Iowa and won the nomination. Trump gave it everything he got. Had he not gone after Cruz hammer and tong, I suspect Cruz would have "cruzed" to victory. As it is, Cruz pulled off a solid victory with just 3.5% lead. Still worth celebrating for Cruz. ... but I give Trump lots of credit for fighting til the last dog died to come from behind and finish just a few points behind Cruz. I hope if Trump wins the general election he fights like that against Bernie or Hillary. I hope he beats them so hard every day and doesn't stop beating on them until months after the election. In any case, after Cruz and Cruz supporters relish this moment, which they deserve, it will be on to the next contest. It is a marathon. I hope both sides work together to beat the crap out of Rubio now and fight each other later. And may the winner go vampire hunting against the democrat afterwards.

Whomever wins the Democratic vote, I hope neither Bern or Hill gets over 50%. Right now 50 + 50 + 1 (that other guy) = 101%.

You are totally unfamiliar with the bill and the amendments. All 5 were shot down exposing the gang of 8 and rallying the House to crapcan the bill. I am familiar with it. You have many on this site claiming that Ted added poison pill amendments to the bill, and of course all his amendments were defeated.
The bill passed the Senate 68-32, so his attempts certainly had no impact there. It's quite a stretch to claim that he caused the bill to be canned in the House when it was set for a vote when Eric Cantor was defeated in his primary. That's what defeated the bill.
Ted's weak claim is that his rejected amendments were intended to be poison pills. And in many articles he claimed that the path to citizenship Obama insisted up was already a poison pill. So, why did Ted need to do anything?
In one sentence, Cruz would take the path to citizenship out of immigration reform. ân my view, the path to citizenship is the most divisive element of the current bill, Cruz told me. It is designed by the White House to be a poison pill, to cause the bill to be voted down in the House of Representatives.
Until the presidential campaign, Ted claimed that he was trying to amend to bill so that it could be passed, to remove Obama's poison pill which was designed to defeat the bill and keep it as a campaign issue.

You’re reading it right. I’m not sure what the deal is.....maybe their votes are counted differently. I’d be embarrassed if I were them if that’s all they could muster to vote for their bad selves!

Bernie talking about his affection for veterans... You could hear a pin drop in the crowd. That bunch doesn't give a damn about veterans. I would bet most in that crowd despise the military...
Hildabitch shouting that she will "complete the job" and get universal healthcare for all. God help us....
