A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.
Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?
Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?
Sorry, I believe only an American should be president.
Can democrats crossover and vote GOP in SC?
The peopke who believe Trump is a real conservative have the same mindset that the idiots that supported and believed Bill Clintons bullsh*t.
polls were part of the setup...over inflate Trump...anything lower he underachieved...inflate his win and some of his supporters feel they don’t have to go....easy!!!
scare dems that he is going to win and will surely beat their two losers so dems switch to reps and vote for guy number 3 or worse at the time...plus all the other micro massaging behind the scenes much like was done for the big “O” in 2012 in choice ohio percents and other big cities...just enough for the “CHEAT” - “win”
You will never know what would have happened if he attended. Hindsight.
There are but Trump did better than he should have in rural areas and worse in urban areas, so it’s over.
Tim Scott just endorsed Rubio in SC !!!!!!!!
Congratulations, Sir.
It’s a long long road. Great start.
See you on the battle lines tomorrow.
Cruz took on socialist subsidies in Iowa and won the Caucus. Never happened before.
Huckabee is dropping out now too.
And Trump bankrolled a number of democrats that wrote it and funded Bill and Hill’s wild adventures in their ‘Foundation.’ If you are looking for purity, there’s no such thing. Especially Trump supporters can’t preach purity. No candidate has a perfect voting record. Reagan did a thousand good things, but signed some dumb laws as governor and president. Perfection is not an option.
Nobody ever said Trump was “pure”. And your examples are simply not equivalent. Senator “Principled Conservative” stood in the United States Senate with Barack Obama and Goldman Sachs and against us on a critically important issue. But I understand that loving eyes can never see that.
CSPAN 84% of Precincts reporting 8.28 PM CST
Cruz 43550 27.7% Trump 38358 24.4% Rubio 3606523% Carson 14609 9.3% Paul 7103 4.5% Jebbie 4409 2.8%
Huckabee (3.9%)follows O’Mally—suspends his campaign
I don’t think the debate factored much. Cruz is the big evangelical and he poured everything he had into Iowa so it’s not a big surprise he won.
Reallllly Christ like
Huckabee just suspended his campaign.
I might actually listen to Beck tomorrow. HE is going to claim HE is a kingmaker (or something off the rails).
We shall see.
Meant to ping you to #2,487
And that will be the last time they mention Cruz, it’s going to be “All Rubio All the Time” from here on out.
I look at his numbers for the under 30 demographic (beating Hillary 91%-9%) and I have to wonder. I don’t know how reliable they are getting to the booth, but the fact that he’s attracting so much young vote is disturbing. It’s also a sad commentary on the state of our education system.
