A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.
Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?
Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?
Iowa doesn’t really mean much. But it is very interesting that the only candidate who didn’t pander to the Ethanol mandate still won Iowa. Just Wow.
They are ALL talk and ALL owned, so it really doesn’t matter at this point. The economy is going to implode this year anyway, who on earth would want to be president and deal with that mess?
"HOW STUPID ARE THE PEOPLE OF IOWA?"
I had that feeling too.
Does Trump start attacking Rubio?
I guess we shall see what is next.
As a Cruz supporter, I liked tonight!
It's somewhere in Breaking News from about a week ago where JR put it there.
Is lil Ricky still knocking himself out?
Trump is not imploding here in SC. It will now be a race between Rubio and Trump.
Last chance to have some fun tonight
Go Bernie
CLINTON 579 SANDERS 568
LOL
My thoughts:
Congrats to Cruz. He won fair and square. A lot to say for passion and organization.
I would also say to Trump supporters: your guy did win, too: in costs per vote. He will still win delegates--almost as many as Cruz, probably...and spent LESS money than any of the top 3 guys.
Rubio is a force to be reckoned with--he is surprising a lot of people.
So, as a STILL undecided voter, I appreciate everyone who has decent arguments for their man or woman.
It is who is counting the votes. Not baffling at all and at some point people will have enough.
That wasn't hard to see coming. He was kissing up to Trump earlier today. Saying that Trump is really pro-life. *barf*
Rubio - another government-loving Bush-type. Don’t trust him. Hope Trump or Cruz beats him.
To me, Trump is the only one who can beat the Dems but if the Dems self-destruct, dang, then I’d say Cruz would also be a good choice.
If you also would have said that Cruz, Trump and Rubio made up 75% of the total and Bush got zilch there would have been dancing in the streets of Free Republic.
Google reporting Sanders with one more delegate than Clinton, although Clinton leads votes by 0.9%. Is this possible?
>> IOWA IS FIRED.
rofl!
.
People in NH have TVs too!
They do not like to support losers, it soils their imasge.
Trump will fade out.
:)
