Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who endorsed GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, told supporters at his campaign rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Monday that “You find out who your friends are” in politics.
Palin went on to criticize Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), for alleging that she was paid to support Trump.
“Steve King – friend of mine – I thought,” Palin began. “Here I see that just a bit ago he is accusing me on MSNBC – first, MSNBC really? – of selling my support to Mr. Trump. This is why when you read things like this, people don’t really like politics.”

He may be, but to go on record claiming that Palin only endorsed Trump because he paid her when it is not true is neither principled nor conservative. So she responds to Kings' attack on her, and she is in the wrong? I would say that she has every right to respond to someone who has publically maligned her character.
Yeah your the same idiot who criticized George W for not going after people who spoke lies about him. Sarah was the wronged and she was just saying that the Cruz Campaign supporter Steve is a liar and he is. So what is wrong? Nothing.
Go Trump! Go Sarah!
King said Trump pays for endorsements — and that IS true.
and if he tries to buy your endorsement and you don’t sell it to him, you’re a “bad person”. Just ask Bob VanderPlaats.
I wouldn’t have thought Steve King would say something like this.
Very disappointing.
Yea, Sarah.
Rep. King should switch parties.
She called him a liar.
And Steve King is!!
Mr. King and his fellow RINOs show true low class.

If being conservative blinds you to accuse someone of taking a bribe, without proper dialogue, then you can have it. Conservitism on display today, has been manipulated into a crap-sandwich, complete with empty promises.. It is refreshing to see Sarah sticking up for herself and a true conservative would applaude it.
“Nobody is too principled or too conservative that they cannot be thrown under the bus if theyâre in the way of the phony conservative Trump.”
How quickly yesterday’s conservative heros get thrown under the bus when they dare to speak the truth! I think Sarah knows whether or not she’s been “paid off,” but Steve King doesn’t. I don’t think Trump’s conservative, but I am willing to see what he can do, because the “real conservatives,” like Steve King haven’t done $hit for the country for longer than any of us should care.
Enjoy the political food fight for now. I know who our real enemies are and they’re not named Donald or Ted. I keep my eyes on the bigger picture and that’s keeping Traitor Shrillary and Comrade Bernie out of the White House. When this primary season ends we had better reunite or face the horrible prospect of seeing Hillary take the oath of office on a pile of money or Bernie taking his on a copy of Das Kapital.
That point I am not arguing.
Trump accused Vander Plaats of being a phony who repeatedly asked Trump for free stays at his hotels
Trump shot back: Vander Plaats begged me to do an event while asking organizers for $100,000 for himself-—a bad guy!
Good post!
TY for posting.
A direct accusation of Palin on a nationally televised program shouldn’t be very difficult to substantiate.
So that quote will be appearing any minute now, I’m sure...
Cruzers will believe it
According to VanderPlaats, he didn’t ask for free stays; Trump insisted on giving them to him to buy hsi support.
Then when he endorsed Cruz, Trump tweeted that he’s a “bad guy.” (Direct quote.)
+2. Exactly.

VanderPlaats arranged the event, but took ZERO money for himself. He got $100K for charitable purposes.
